Chapter One
Reappearing on Pleasure Island with the others for all of a few seconds, the boy heard a voice which said, "I'll never get this stench off of me! I was only playing a game with you at first, but since you want to play hard ball, let's see you return from this!" And the young man vanished away from Wilwick and the others a second time where it seemed that he appeared directly over a small park in nearby Terryville in free fall. Not wanting to utilize the magic collar which he was currently suspicious of; the boy permitted the free fall until a large tree came within range of his hands and he made an effort to use gymnastics to swing himself from the branch to the tree trunk so he could climb safely down to the ground.
Arriving on the ground, he muttered some not so nice words as he made his way out of the park and decided to return home to report in to his parents whom should have still been home at that time. As he reached the correct street corner, the first of many surprises lay before him. The entire neighborhood where his family's Sabrina styled house had been replaced with a waterfront district which had the name of Stick Town on the sign leading into the area. "Where in the Bleep is my house?" While making a decision on what to do next, he saw Ace the Bat Hound and Robbie the Robin on Ace's Bat Glider rocketing along a North-South highway through the area heading toward Meta-Star City. "Ace would normally be on one of his day time patrols on a Saturday. But the way he was focused on the road, it was like Director Scott Jeralds had called the actors to come to the set. Maybe I should head over to Krypto and Rudolph's home and see if the nice reindeer can help me find out where my house went."
Arriving in Kennel Court, Gerard was soon approaching the home of Krypto the Super Dog and Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. He could smell baked sugar cookies in the air as he approached the front porch of the house. Stepping up to the door, he rang the door bell and waited.
When the door opened, Rudolph stood there in his anthropomorphic reindeer form wearing a baking apron. "Can I help you?" Then he saw whom was actually standing there as a look of worry crossed his face. "What in the Hell happened to you, Gerard? Whom shrank you to the size of a young kid?"
The boy replied, "What are you talking about Rudolph? I've always been this size. I came here because my family's home over on Bunny Lane and Arcane Avenue got transformed into a weird dockfront district called Stick Town."
Rudolph then said, "There haven't been any residential homes over at those streets since the Quad County and Animated Retirement Community days. Ever since the move to Cartoon Anime and Motion Picture World, that region has been a dock district for shipping vessels. Um, Gerard... I hate to be the one to tell you this, but... my initial reaction over your size and appearance is because you are not the original Gerard Prince of this world. Ever since our Gerard graduated from AniSapien High and migrated to the West Coast with his team, we rarely see him over here in Terryville at all. We need to find out where you came from and send you back there. So tell me everything you can remember before landing in Camp World." And therein began the strange telling of his encounter with Arnie Roo just before his AniSapien Freshmen year had started in the ARC community of Coopersville, California.
Rudolph then said, "Now I know you aren't from this dimension. Gerard Prince never met our version of Arnie Roo until his Sophomore year. Sit still while I call Krypto."
While Gerard sat on the living room couch, he saw a family portrait of Rudolph sitting with Krypto and a cute human boy was between then. Then in a photo right next to that one, he saw Rudolph and Krypto with an all black Labrador between them. "Don't know whom the cutey is, but that black dog is a sex object. If I hadn't seen Ace earlier, I would have said that was ace modeling a new costume. But he wouldn't be caught dead in something that revealing."
And as if on cue, the all-black super dog sauntered into the living room nomming on one of Rudolph's cookies while holding a glass of milk before coming to a dead stop when he saw the young Gerard sitting on the couch looking at the family pictures. "Um... I just saw Gerard on the West Coast this morning at the spa; whom are you?" When Rudolph heard that question, he was back in the living room positioning himself between the boy and the black lab. "Night... this isn't a dupe despite how it may seem. What are you doing home?"
Night playfully tried to lift and lower his head to peer around the reindeer's body to see the boy. "This is my cookie break between my schedule, mom. So whom is this boy?"
Gerard asked, "You don't have reindeer parts; how can you be related to Rudolph?"
Night laughed playfully at that point. "Mom owes me twenty dollars. I told you someone would ask that question some day." Stepping around the reindeer, Night said, "I used to be Harold Dangers, a human sponsor boy whom got moved in with Rudolph and Krypto for the Cheer Bear's Sponsor Family program. I was Timesheart Tiger's Big Brother program charge. An evil group on QC Planet, the successor to the Quad Counties, doctored some food ingredients here in Krypto and Rudolph's home and I got doused in a fatal bath of magical Kryptonian Toonium oil. Over the course of the following week and a half, I transformed painfully into this final form. Then I had to be taught how to use my new body. Most times, I was miserable. But Krypto and Rudolph stuck it out with me all the way like real troopers. The rest of my new life wasn't always the most spotless. I made several messes which I fessed up to and rose above later."
