Chapter One -- Locating the Rest.

Taking Nightflight and Kitta with him, Deryk of Parousia teleported their group to Port Ottercrest in the Protected Station Zone where they arrived at Sidarius Station the last known locale of Wesley "Wes" Daggert, former White belt and former Silver Lantern Ranger. Making the inquiry to Rick Ranger whom was sitting on the front porch of the station, he directed the group to the Green Belt training chambers where Konga Rao was teaching a class. Wes would either be an advanced student or an assistant instructor now.

It was left practically the same, save for the Stryfe Academy sign on the main fence, as well as the Main Houses of the former two stations were marked as "Sidarius House" and "Devlin House" and was used by the Twins and their teammates as home now that they are able to be in Australia more often (thanks to a shortcut in Neo-Briarwood to New Briarwood). Devlin does crash in his own bedroom whenever he wants some alone time or when he has extended trainings. CJ still comes around the Devlin House from time-to-time to learn Egyptology from the Professor's books. And the Simulation Dome that was ravaged the year before looked fully repaired... from the outside. Joey had trouble getting in contact with people to check the internals to see if they still worked... He might have to commission Russell and Tom Cat Tomorrow to help with the internals so no malfunction makes the grunts real.

Arriving to escort the Holy Pouch to a class of Green Belts was the Were Quokka in human form. He was brown-haired with a fair complexion, as well as speaking with a West Australia accent. He bowed to the Holy Pouch. "It's an honor to this Academy for the Holy Pouch of Parousia to visit." His second-degree black belt looked quite new, at it had it only a day or two. "Sensei Wes is almost finished with the lesson, if you would like to observe, he does want to speak with you after he dismisses the students."

Within the Green Belt dojo, he was doing a demonstration of a new kata they will be learning on the next lesson with another Black Belt. This one a Dreamtime Wallaby as a human, albeit shorter at 5-foot-zip. They both bowed to each other, and then Wes looked to the students. He aged up since the Lantern Legion years, and looked like a more seasoned martial artist. He looked unshakeable compared to the early 2010s. "Thank you, students. You are dismissed to your kitchen duties. He and the shorter assistant instructor bowed to the students and got the same response.

Wes Daggert wore his instructors gear more conservatively than the others and the late Dojo Master did. He had a lithe build for a man his age, and his shaggy dirty blond hair became a little more brown and neatly kept and his grey eyes gave him a degree of calmness in his tanned appearance. He took a towel to his face. "You did well, Cliffy." A nickname he gave Assistant instructor Cliffpaw. He then looked at the door and saw 'Smiley,' He was a good instructor, but the smile was unsettling to Wes. "It looks like the guest Sensei Joey told me to expect is here. Excuse me." He bowed again to Cliffy and walked up to the group, trying to figure out how to turn them down gently before his planned focus student is coming in about ten minutes' time.

Deryk of Parousia nodded his head to Wes as he said, "Ah expected yas to be busy with students but Ah promised Kingston that Ah would at least stop in and see 'ow yas were. We are revamping GO-Rescue currently. Ah already 'ad a list of potentials to fetch; but Kingston asked me to see if the Silver Lantern wanted to get a second chance at being a ranger. Ah can clearly see that you are 'appiest serving in the Dojo for which yas advanced in yer studies at. Ah know that yas didn't want to be a Ranger the first time and the experience ended rather quickly, likely much to yer joy. Just tell me that yas 'ave no regrets in being an instructor and Ah can relay that message to Kingston later in Kangaroo Town. But yas would always be welcome to visit. The Lantern Ranger gear is still in storage for a future time of use. Yas got a chance that no one else likely gets. And now yas do what makes yas the most 'appy.... 'elping students to realize their potential." he then smiled for he knew that Wes would not be joining but since Kingston made the request to find out how Wes was doing, that was what this visit was all about.

Wes smiled. "I have no regrets becoming an instructor. Senseis Lexington and Joey taught me well, and I am happy to impart what I've learned to new students." He then said. "The Silver Lantern was an enlightening experience, mind the pun. Showed me how green I truly was. Before the Dome was damaged very badly, I was able to take on at least thirty past-grunts without being overwhelmed. Joey still doesn't trust that the Dome is back to full function."

Wes walked over and pulled out a set of kendo sticks, getting preparations done. "As for what I can help you with, I do have a focus student that came to us last year. One of the first after the Stations re-opened as Stryfe Academy. If I may, allow me to bring you up to speed on what's been happening." He said. "The student was originally taught by Peregrine alone, as he took care of the White Belts. When he began the sparring lessons, this white belt focused more on defense than any of the others, until he saw weaknesses he could exploit. After two sessions of seeing it, Sensei Joey and I were brought in to observe. Joey was still overtired for overworking himself for months... and with Peregrine helping him with keeping the Station running, they asked me to take him on as a focus student."

He said, "His name is Carmichael Snart, but he likes to be called Carmen. In the months we focused, he has improved and caught up with his classmates in the Yellow Belt, and eclipsed them in gaining the High Yellow rank." Yellow Belt with a green stripe. "This will be his final focus lesson, and Joey already signed off on his completion of the focus." He looked Deryk of Parousia in the eye, and smiled. "He would make for a good replacement, if you don't mind a little bit of sarcasm every now and then."

Deryk of Parousia nodded his head. "'e may continue to live 'ere at the station, since that is something that we 'ave been arranging with the new GO-Rescue. A short-cut door will be set up between either 'is private quarters or in a public place which Sensei Joey approves of. The main 'eadquarters is located in Kangaroo Town between LEAPS and the I-Roo Academy. A scent blocker is erected on the I-Roo side of the base so the Rangers are not overwhelmed on a 'umid day. The base is right across the street from the Absolute Zero. A place most of the Lords know all too well. As for sarcasm, Ah am not a team member. There are to be four males and two females on the new team. Kingston is using 'is given name of Lari K. Knightmane. Emphasis on the 'K' when using 'is first name of Lari-K. Lari-C is aboard the Aussie Thunder Star Ship recovering from 'is injuries. Lord Cary Knight is still in Port Ottercrest with Col. North unless they went somewhere else at the last minute. They do want to see Lari-C once 'e is well enough to receive visitors. When can Ah meet with Carmen Snart?"

"He's should be here any minute now. He's punctual." Wes put down a basket next to the sandal mat, then sat himself on the Instructors cushion. "He's always carries a book with him. One of the Dojo's rules; we usually let Ranger students keep their morphers nearby in case of emergency. Those, books and handhelds are usually placed in the basket during lessons. It helps all students if they have a motivating factor to keep focused in class."

With a knock of the door heard, Wes smiled. "Right on time. Come in!" The door to the Advanced Dojo slid open with a slight clatter. Carmen Snart stood at five foot six with dark hair kept in a severe buzzcut, olive-toned skin, and wore the white dojo uniform with a yellow belt with a single green stripe at each end. He was an average built teen with a somewhat dejected look on his face, despite his progress. After bowing, he reached into one the opening of the shirt, he pulled out a well-worn copy of Ian Fleming's "Moonraker," and placed it into the basket, and placed his sandals on the mat. He then said sternly and with respect. "Good afternoon, Sensei Wes." He then bowed to the honored guests. This is not Sensei Joey or Devlin... who is this were-roo? he thought to himself, knowing how the more prominent were-roos present themselves.

    End of Chapter One.

Chapter Two -- Lessons and Fetchings.

Wes nodded to the others. "These observers are the Holy Pouch of Parousia. Traveling with him are Super Duper Crazy Kitty and Nightflight, leaders of their own Superhero teams visiting from a more *ahem* animated Earth."

SDCK zipped over to the basket and picked up the book. "007, eh? We had something similar in Toonmasters once upon an era, though he was more for an older audience." She didn't mean young adult or adolescents.

Deryk of Parousia smiled. "We will wait for yer lesson to end before we give yas the good news." Extra incentive, perhaps?

Nightflight was admiring the Dojo chamber itself since they had something similar back at both Ernie's home and Deryk Roo's base on Anime Masters.

The Lesson was a little advanced for even a high yellow belt, but it was a lesson to keep Carmen on his toes, as well as for the junior to get a few strikes in, while probing for an opening. Wes, being an experienced black belt, kept it hard to find a weakness. He got in a few at the start, kept his eyes focused on his opponent. The fight was even, although Carmen took a few more strikes than Wes did. Once the dinner bell rang, both stopped. And bowed to each other.

Wes said. "The special classes have ended. You have completed your Focus training."

"Thank you for the lessons," Carmen said sincerely, as he bowed. He then went into a drawer and pulled out a new green gi in the Japanese cut (shorter 3/4 length sleeves and longer lapels). There was also a wallaby patch on each sleeve at the shoulder. "Wear this new gi with honor, and let it remind you that in combat there is a time and place for defense and probing offense. Observe like the rock wallaby, but don't forget to try offense while finding a weakness to exploit. And for an extra earning... the good news from Deryk of Parousia."

Accepting the new uniform, Carmen took it in both hands. SDCK plopped the book on top of the new uniform, having read the book in Catniptonian Super speed (and kept the the bookmark in the place Carmen left it). "That Ian Fleming... he gives a few pointers on how to write a book with his story. The main character is just as inappropriate as this main character's toon counterpart, though."

Deryk of Parousia said, "Carmen Snart. We are assembling a new version of a former Power Rangers test team which is called GO-Rescue. The GO part stands for Gaiden Outback. As for the other part, they are the Rescue Rangers of Australia. The good news is that yas were named as a potential team member in this new Ranger team by your sensei 'ere. A shortcut to the base can be arranged at or near yer personal quarters 'ere at the station. The team 'eadquarters does 'ave its own bedrooms although we are permitting team members to continue to live at their own 'omes, if that is their desire. If yas will lead us back to yer bunk'ouse quarters, we can get the shortcut set up. Another use for the shortcut would be if yer senseis needed to get a message to yas if yas were at base. Save a trip. Yas are to be Wallaby Rescue Ranger Green."

Wes cleared his throat. "If I may, I was once a Ranger in the 2010s, the Silver of the Lantern Legion. I may have been a part of that team shortly, but my experience with them helped me find my calling. You are a great martial artist, but with a Ranger team you can be more. Find out who you truly want to be."

"I'm in." said Carmen in a moment of thought. "But for a shortcut, how do we put it in without the other Yellow Belts stumbling over it in the bunkhouse? It will be like the Wardrobe can make a potential Narnia moment for the humans in our class."

Wes came up with an idea. "The Twins have an equipment-making workshop they made underground out of an abandoned weapons cache made by Lord Zander when he was a Demon Hunter. That could be a good place 'out of the way' for a shortcut."

SDCK blinked. "Wait. How did Lord Zander hide weapons under Lexington and Seth's nose? Zander knows that the Dojo Masters have a hatred for any firearms."

"Could be when the Dojo was closed many years ago," hummed Wes. "Joey might know for sure. He was one of the few that helped maintained the Stations when they were starting out as Boomer Force. If there is not okay with Deryk and David, I wonder if the Devlin side of the property has a similar underground cache?"

Deryk of Parousia stated, "Since Power Rangers are usually equipped with weapons in their line of work and a Zord is an over-sized weapon in truth; then the Masters would have to be 'ypocrites to say that they disapprove of weapons being Power Rangers themselves. And Battlizers are per'aps the worst type of weapon in existence; and all red rangers in common teams 'ad one. Ah would pay to see a Field Marshal take out one of their enemies without a single weapon at their disposal. The banishing scrolls 'ave to be counted as weapons since they dispatch monsters back to the underworld." He was picturing Bindi Fury fighting against Poachers and demons without a single Boomer Force weapon at her disposal. Blasphemy!

Nightflight coughed one time as he said, "Memory lane aside, but we have others to go collect, Mr. Pouch. Unless you want Flittermouse and her mouth along for the remaining part of your trip. I think the Mobians will enjoy training the new GO-Rescue, but... like Col. North and Cary, I think I would like to go see Lari C, since it was he whom I was told that we were going to get to work with and this falls short, sir. I didn't want to say that in front of Lari K. So let's get a move on. You are starting to act like the old Toonmaster."

Deryk of Parousia remarked, "Ah was waiting for these two to decide where the shortcut would be conveniently placed at. Putting it underground seems a bit extreme since Ah just said that the Masters might 'ave to make use of it in case they needed Carmen for something. 'iding it would imply that our new ranger feels that Joey would distrust or frown on the bloke becoming one of the new rangers. The wardrobe idea is probably for the best as long as 'e doesn't bring attention to it to the other students. Once it is arranged, we can continue."

After arranging the magical wardrobe in Carmen's bunkhouse and taking him through it so he could get seated at the team meeting table, Carmen was given his morpher and the explanation on its use was given. Then after a brief intro to the others, Deryk took the two toons with him as they made a pit stop in the infirmary where Lari C. was getting a visit with Col. North and Lord Cary. "Nightflight wanted to see yas, Lari C. Ah'm still dealing with yer cousin." Lari C smiled at the toons and the Pouch. "'elps to dispel the boredom, sir. Ah wish they would just let me 'eal myself the fast way. Laying in bed implies that they think that Ah am seriously injured. Ah just saw Sony and Vlad earlier. They really cheered me up. And then these blokes showed up. They said they got permission to visit me. Ah 'ave to assume that the big brass are making sure there are no more Lari C. clones lurking around." Deryk the Pouch arched an eye. "Actually, this is the first Ah 'ave 'eard of their keeping yas in bed for this length of time. If yas 'ave a fast way to 'eal, then do it. Ah give yas permission."

    End of Chapter Two.

Chapter Three: The Lords Canyon and the Isle of Green.

Lari C. whipped the covers off of his bed and in the blink of an eye, he was standing on his feet at the foot of the bed in an action pose. He shouted, "All for one and one for all!"

Lari C's Spirit Guides (Knotty and Shugar) merged with his bracer as he struck a pose and he brought his bracer over his chest to activate the Musketeer Order symbol. "Order Code... Kangaroo!" A flare of red light went off from his bracer as he brought his arms down to his sides as he stood at attention. "Musketeer Red!" His surroundings suddenly became like the Outback with Ayers Rock in the background as his morphing sequence began. The flaring red light from the bracer coated his body from the neck down forming his all Red Dreamtime Uniform with Dark Red Gloves and Dark Red Boots. A shiny red belt appeared around his waist and then his kangaroo shaped red helmet came spinning down out of the sky as he reached up and caught it, before pulling it down over his head. Finally his surroundings returned to normal as an explosion of red smoke erupted from behind him. The view around him made a 360 spin before stopping to reveal him in a heroic stance. His two Were-Zords (Kangaroo and Donkey) appeared behind him briefly. "Musketeer Order Red! Kangaroo Ranger!"

Then he said, "Power Down!" And he returned to normal looking as healthy as he should have appeared normally. "Although my childhood nickname was Lari, my birth name was Lars Carrington Knightmane. As yas can see, Pouch, my original friends and Ah were granted entry into the Musketeer Order shortly before the demons ambushed me and 'ad me prisoner where Ah couldn't speak nor activate my powers. My Spirit Guides were even prevented from coming to my aid. Knotty was 'opping mad that they did that. We were the Order's Musketeer Action Rangers based near Kings Canyon, or rather, the Dreamtime Police. One of my sons is practicing basketball down that way in Marshall. Lars Mistpaw Knightmane isn't ready to be a Ranger yet, in my opinion. Thank yas for giving me permission to 'eal myself. Ah really need to please Roolock by doing something immoral while kick boxing some villain where Marcy approves."

Deryk of Parousia said, "Kings Canyon was our next stop, in truth. Drayce's godson was suggested to me as being ranger material. Seems the young man in'erited Drayce's radar ability."

Lari C smiled as he said, "Rusty and Studpaw's son whom was lucky to be born 'uman. But no one knows 'ow 'e in'erited Drayce's ability unless Rusty permitted the Shadodrak to 'ave sex with 'im. And 'ow immoral that would 'ave been! Lord Cary and Col. North's son Ethan is also schooling down there. 'e supposedly looks like all the Lari's but with bushy 'air rather than the clean proper look we decent Lari's sport."

Deryk of Parousia then took Kitta with him as he teleported the two of them down to Kings Canyon to fetch their next ranger to be. "After we pick up this boy, Ah think yas will again be pleased, Kitta. Ireland 'as a tomboy we 'ave to go fetch. Every team needs a LHG."

Within the basketball auditorium, Deryk and Kitta found Lord Rusty St. John along with Lord Studpaw as they watched a young man whom wore clothes in both black and white to signify his Tao choice. Lord Rusty hugged his mate Lord Studpaw as he watched Drayce instruct their son Rayce Sonarpaw in his athletic exercises. "Our children deserve the right to at least give it a try. At least we know they won't be fighting against demon fake copies of themselves like we 'ad to do while we fought against the Dreamtime Spider Queen (Lady Arachnea) and the Dreamtime Dingo Sorceress (Lady D'ngara.) They weren't as bad as Master Sakar, but Ah guess they could 'ave been as bad as Kangamancer 'ad been."

Deryk of Parousia cleared his throat before saying, "Am Ah wrong in assuming that yas boys are from one of Kiel's Dream Earths and brought to life when 'e was about to end the dream? Ah ask because Arachnea and D'ngara 'ave never existed in the normal Australia as far as Ah know of."

Lord Rusty replied, "You would not be incorrect, Holy Pouch. The Blackall Chapter of the Outback Adventure Guild was where Kiel supposedly found us when he went to reinvent a clean version of Outback Rescue and to give a better explanation on where Lord Cary came from. Cary was an evil little shit at first but over time with his falling in love with Col. North, he reformed slowly. We come from an Earth we cannot go back to. Most of us live in Marshall, Kings Canyon... currently. We heard that Lord Lari C got rescued from the stupid demons."

Deryk of Parousia said, "Ah came to recruit yer son to be in a Ranger team. Do yas think 'e is ready for such an endeavor? We will install a shortcut between 'is 'ome 'ere in Marshall and the base in Kangaroo Town for 'is usage."

Rayce got up and walked over to the Holy Pouch. The young man was of average height with black hair which had a set of double off-white silver streaks through the center of his hair and down the back of his head much like a real skunk. But unlike a skunk, he was a clean joey with shadodrak grey eyes and fair yet almost pale Caucasian skin. His black and white clothes were in the plaid pattern and the shirt had a Tao symbol sewn into the left frontal shoulder. "Ah am Rayce Sonarpaw St. John. Drayce sensed that yas were to be coming 'ere. It is good that yas are giving us a shortcut back to the 'ome residences. That way Ah can return to play basketball with the kangaroos that often love to come in to play."

Deryk of Parousia looked to Kitta and grumbled. "The more Ah learn of Kiel's fooling around, the more Ah want to kick 'is ass."

Kitta was taking notes about their adventure so far... forming a new team is hard stuff. Even she knew that. "The best intentions can lead to disastrous results sometimes, Deryk." She then said.

Lord Studpaw, whom lounged on his favorite stone said, "The counterpart of this Earth and Ah are aware of each other, and the bloke doesn't mind me around, so long as I don't interfere with where he lays his interests." He then said, "Ah know Rusty and Ah both are proud of Rayce and 'is choices. Ah 'ave full confidence that if 'e says 'e's ready, then 'e 'as our blessing to join."

Letting Rayce show where he wanted his shortcut arranged at which was close to both Drayce's perch and the door which led to his bedroom, Rayce was then dropped off at the team base before the Pouch and Kitta went to Ireland to locate Nollaig Maedbh Coveny. "Lord Merlin told me about this young lady and how she was looking for an adventure to pursue."

"Judging how old and boring this part of Ireland looks, I wouldn't blame her," said Kitta.

Around the small town of Kells in County Meath it was indeed a bit of a boring place, steeped with way too much history, and a less than modest populous. A lady with short golden brown hair and a deep tie to her Irish roots, Nollaig Maedbh Coveny was listening to the radio about a recent Rugby game between the regional Leinster and her favored Ulster Rugby team of Northern Ireland. Nollaig was about seventeen, wore a school boy's uniform, and had a buckle on her belt with the symbol for an ancient Kingdom of the same name long since forgotten. She was listening to it at the base of the Round Tower, as she was forbidden from listening to sports in her Catholic home. Plus she had a bruise on her arm from ending a raucous fight with a bully in her favor. She was hoping to get the score before returning to a more-than-orthodoxed household.

      End of Chapter Three.

Chapter Four: The Luck of the Fighting Irish and Back Again.

Deryk the Pouch remarked, "'er school counselor told me that she would be the right choice to recruit for the team but to not let 'er parents know that we were going to choose 'er since they might veto the opportunity in a flash. They are Catholic and care less than a shit about Power Rangers, let alone toons. If yer not in ca'oots with God Almighty, then yer the work of the Devil. And with my upbringing, yas can guesss 'ow that would turn out if the 'oly Pouch told them that their daughter was to be the newest Rescue Ranger. Our quarry is sitting at the base of the Round Tower listening to the radio. She is listening to a rugby game and we will permit 'er to finish that before we give 'er the good news. Besides, Merlin gave me magical access to the Round Tower for our newest Ranger's usage. If 'e 'adn't, then yer strength would 'ave been fun to watch as yas made a new door in the tower itself." And so, Deryk and Kitta waited for the ending scores to be announced without announcing themselves. The Holy Pouch and Kitta both had excellent hearing and would know when the scores were given over the radio. Not to mention, the Holy Pouch was a guaranteed signal booster and power generator for any electronic device.

When the scores were given, only then did Deryk and Kitta step out into view. "Nollaig Coveny, Ah presume. Lord Merlin told me where to find yas. Ah am the 'oly Pouch of Planet Parousia and this is Super Duper Crazy Kitty of the Toon Titans of Planet Toonmasters. Ah 'ope yas are well today. Yas were chosen to be the newest Rescue Power Ranger in a team we are sponsoring. Merlin 'as given me authority to permit yas a secret shortcut access within the Round Tower through a secret entrance that only yas and those yas trust would be able to make use of. Yas get to name yer favorite animal as well as the color of choice to represent in the Gaiden Outback Rescue Rangers team. We fondly call the team GO-Rescue."

Nollaig smirked. "And ye chose the prodigal child of a Catholic family in a small township of Ireland to be a Ranger. I am honored, as if the Ancestors went to their deity Dagda and blessed me with something more than just a quiet life." She then turned off her radio. And got up from the step and cracked her knuckles, and stomped feeling back in her legs after sitting on a stone for so long. "Ye got her, but what kind of toon cat floats like the spirits and fae of old?"

"Oh rude!" scoffed Kitta. But she was happy that this one was a little bit improper for a girl. "This is a good fit for the trope you are looking for, Holy Pouch. And for the record, I am a Catniptonian superhero of that said Planet of Toonmasters. I have powers on all Earth planets. You may see me much better in the comics, and see what I mean."

"No need. Just not too interested in being the girly-girl types... and I resent being forced into that mold. But ye seem to have a chip on yer shoulder, so I won't provoke ye." She fully got up, as Kitta was delightfully steamed by the nerve of Nollaig (and crunching a mint). She fully stood up, and presented her self more like a schoolboy than a girl wearing boys clothing. She looked at the pouch and smiled at the chance of being free from the small town life, and a chance to find herself. She then approached the Holy Pouch. "As I have felt caged in this town for all my life, my creature represents freedom and more. I choose the Kestrel, and for some bloody irony, I would like to have a darker shade of Pink. Many decades ago, Pink used to be a boy's color, but pastels are the bloody worst."

Deryk of Parousia then said, "Once yas get yer morpher, only yas and those whom yas call yer allies and friends can actually see it. Non-believers will never see it. Now, normally the shortcut would be placed close to yer 'ome but since yer parents would never approve of this, Merlin is permitting me to place the shortcut -- 'ere... behold." And he pulled out a token of Merlin and touched it to the side of the Round Tower which made a door that only the three of them (as well as allies to GO-Rescue) could see. Within was a small chamber containing the shortcut to the GO-Rescue base in Kangaroo Town. "If you will come with us, Ah can introduce yas to the rest of the team. As for Kitty's dress code, unless the costume netted 'er Theatrics ratings, then it would not be likely that she would 'ave a fae themed costume back on Toonmasters." And he led the ladies through the new opening and through the magical shortcut within the chamber itself.

Deryk then said, "Lari Kingston Knightmane but can be called either Lari or Kingston, Red Unicorn Rescue Ranger; Heathcliff Flowen Celeron Jr preferring to be called Flow, Blue 'edge'og Rescue Ranger; Daryn Hayes Merlock preferring to be called Daz, Gold Stallion Rescue Ranger; Carmichael Snart preferring the shortened Carmen, Green Wallaby Rescue Ranger; Rayce Sonarpaw St. John, Tao Shadodrak Rescue Ranger, a sorcery student; and yerself... Nollaig Maedbh Coveny, Pink Kestrel Rescue Ranger." He then affixed the morpher on her wrist and said, "Yer seats at the meeting table are well marked with both an outline of yer color as well as yer animal symbol on the backs and fronts of the padded seats. The Meeting table top in front of each of yas (as well as the space above each of yer shortcuts) 'as a clock keeping perfect time from yer 'ome regions so yas are not getting 'ome late and receiving a possible punishment Ah feel yas 'ave not earned. Most of yas 'ave received the rest of the following information but Ah am going to say it again as a reminder and so the Pink Ranger can 'ear it."

He then continued. "yer base is located in Kangaroo Town which is a part of the New Dreamtime or as it might be called in other countries... Spirit Land (the Americas,) Avalon (the United Kingdom,) Iceria (the Ice Kingdoms of Norway and Russia,) and Savanah World (Africa.) The exact location within Kangaroo Town is between the Legal Experience and Police Studies Academy or LEAPS for short, as well as I-ROO Academy which is the cleaner academy dedicated to Yiffy Roo Order kangaroos whom wanted to train in Kangaroo Town instead of back in their 'omeland. The base 'as a scent filter between the 'eadquarters and the I-Roo academy since some people cannot stand YRO scent at all. The base is directly across the street from the Absolute Zero tavern and pub. During the day 'ours, yas can get safe food and drink there; at night, the alcohol flows and the dance floor is opened up. Lords and Ladies of Dreamtime are all the time going there, as well as Lord and Ladies of military forces from variant kingdoms. As part of GO-Rescue, no one will try to recruit yas into their armies."

Deryk of Parousia now said with a smile, "Morphing for yer devices is as follows... 'old yer morphers over yer chest and touch the button marked as 'GO' and say, 'Go-Rescue'. To return to normal, just say 'Power Down' and actually mean to change back to normal. In the event yas cannot reach yer morpher, just imagine that yer going through the motions and say or think the words. The morpher will automatically be on yer wrist and yas will morph. The second way is a quick change method to suit up fast when yas don't want to fool around anymore. But yas should always use the standard way when yer not in a 'urry. It can be quite majestic. Final words... Ah am not in charge of yer team; Lari K is the leader. 'e 'as some prior experience through watching other leaders lead their teams. If yas need new equipment, yas can contact me either through the communicator part of yer morpher or by pressing the conference button on the meeting table. Either Ah or the 'oly Pouch of Earth will respond to the call. We are both working on getting things on track before Ah go and focus on my own world once again. 'is name is Deryk Tyler Sherwood, although the bloke permits being called by 'is last name of Sherwood or Pouch; 'e was raised by the Voodoo Queen of Jamaica, Spiritua; so 'is methods will often be different from mine. We embraced the prophecy. We can appear 'uman at will, but Ah love using the kangaroo form so much that Ah am always in it. 'e prefers to be seen 'uman 'olding off using 'is Kangaroo form until 'e turns twenty-one. Ah am beyond that already. yer goals as GO-Rescue are to either assist other ranger teams secondarily or to fight poachers worldwide and to rescue innocent animals as well as unfortunate 'umans when and where yas can. if yas want to think of yerselves as Forest Rangers, yas may do that."

He then added, "To summon yer Zords, yas say the words, Ah need the Animal Now. Replace Animal with yer animal choice and the Zord will arrive to assist yas. Yas 'ave to be in yer Zord Pilot seats to form the megazord. The Freedom Fighters of Planet Mobius will occasionally come in and 'elp yas train to be better rangers. The toon 'eroes might lend their aid when necessary. And Ah think that is all there is to it. Ah 'ave other teams to go check on. Lord Kiel is currently with Ranger X in Silver Plains; Lord Tally and Lord Brock are keeping an eye on Kings Canyon; Sherwood went to see if Trigram Boomer needed any assistance. It seems the Spider queendom is again being a pain in the tail. They just don't get it that the war is over. Ah will now leave yer team up to yas for now. There is an arcade just down the street for the younger citizens. the game booths are free to use and are indestructible."

Chapter Five: Morphing For The First Time.

Deryk of Parousia nodded his head. "Now Ah want to see yas morph once to show me that yas understand the instructions. Time to rescue the meek, Rangers!"

Lari K held his morpher over his chest and touched the GO button as he said, "GO! Rescue!" His surroundings became that of a fantasy forest although he was not seen primarily as a majestic red unicorn came galloping out of the foliage and leaped high into the air and upon landing, it merged with the awaiting human, as his body glowed with a brilliant red light from the neck down. His feet and hands were covered with white boots and gloves, as his body became covered in a black leather uniform, and this was covered with elven chained plate armor in red and a circled unicorn crest appeared in the center of his chest which had the words GO-Rescue around the outer edges of the image in a partial arc. His unicorn helmet with an oval visor and spiraled horn then appeared over his head, as lastly, his sword scabbard, sword, backpack, quiver of arrows, and his great bow equipped themselves to him in all the right places. And lastly, his Red Unicorn Zord appeared briefly behind him as he struck his final pose and announced, "Unicorn Rescue Ranger Red!"

Flow held his morpher over his chest and touched the GO button as he said, "GO! Rescue!" His surroundings became that of the Mobian landscape although he was not seen primarily as Sonic the Hedgehog zoomed in side by side with New 52 Jay Garrick before both leaping high into the air and upon landing, they merged with the awaiting human, as his body glowed with a brilliant blue light from the neck down. His feet and hands were covered with white boots and gloves, as his body became covered in a black leather uniform, and this was covered with elven chained plate armor in blue and a circled Lightning Bolt crest appeared in the center of his chest which had the words GO-Rescue around the outer edges of the image in a partial arc. His hedgehog helmet with an oval visor then appeared over his head, as lastly, his sword scabbard, sword, backpack, quiver of arrows, and his great bow equipped themselves to him in all the right places. And lastly, his Blue hedgehog Zord appeared briefly behind him as he struck his final pose and announced, "Hedgehog Rescue Ranger Blue!"

Daz held her morpher over her chest and touched the GO button as she said, "GO! Rescue!" Her surroundings became that of the Cheyenne Reservation although she was not seen primarily as a majestic golden stallion came galloping out of the horizon and leaped high into the air and upon landing, it merged with the awaiting human, as her body glowed with a brilliant gold light from the neck down. Her feet and hands were covered with black boots and gloves, as her body became covered in a white leather uniform with skirt and this was covered with native American plate armor in gold and a circled stallion crest appeared in the center of her chest which had the words GO-Rescue around the outer edges of the image in a partial arc. Her stallion helmet with an oval visor then appeared over her head, as lastly, her sword scabbard, sword, backpack, quiver of arrows, and her great bow equipped themselves to her in all the right places. And lastly, her Gold Stallion Zord appeared briefly behind her as she struck her final pose and announced, "Stallion Rescue Ranger Gold!"

Carmen held his morpher over his chest and touched the GO button as he said, "GO! Rescue!" His surroundings became that of the Australian rocky outback although he was not seen primarily as a majestic rock wallaby came hopping over the rocks at a rapid pace before leaping high into the air and upon landing, it merged with the awaiting human, as his body glowed with a brilliant green light from the neck down. His feet and hands were covered with white boots and gloves, as his body became covered in a black leather uniform, and this was covered with elven chained plate armor in green and a circled Wallaby crest appeared in the center of his chest which had the words GO-Rescue around the outer image in a partial arc. His wallaby helmet with an oval visor then appeared over his head, as lastly, his sword scabbard, sword, backpack, quiver of arrows, and his great bow equipped themselves to him in all the right places. And lastly, his Green Wallaby Zord appeared briefly behind him as he struck his final pose and announced, "Wallaby Rescue Ranger Green!"

Rayce held his morpher over his chest and touched the GO button as he said, "GO! Rescue!" His surroundings became that of the Tatsu-lan orchards although he was not seen primarily as a majestic Tao two-toned Shadodrak came flying out of the orchard and arcing high into the air and upon swooping down, it merged with the awaiting human, as his body glowed with a pulsing white light from the neck down. His feet and hands were covered with white boots and gloves, as his body became covered in a black leather uniform, and this was covered with elven chained plate armor in black and white respectively and a circled Tao crest appeared in the center of his chest which had the words GO-Rescue around the outer image in a partial arc. His shadodrak helmet with an oval visor then appeared over his head, as lastly, his sword scabbard, sword, backpack, quiver of arrows, and his great bow equipped themselves to him in all the right places. And lastly, his Tao Shadodrak Zord in flight appeared briefly behind him as he struck his final pose and announced, "Shadodrak Rescue Ranger Tao!"

Nollaig held her morpher over her chest and touched the GO button as she said, "GO! Rescue!" Her surroundings became that of the emerald isle although she was not seen primarily as a majestic pink Kestrel came flying out of the clouds and launched high into the air before swooping down to merge with the awaiting human, as her body glowed with a brilliant pink light from the neck down. Her feet and hands were covered with black boots and gloves, as her body became covered in a white leather uniform, and this was covered with elven chained plate armor in pink and a circled kestrel crest appeared in the center of her chest which had the words GO-Rescue around the outer edges of the image in a partial arc. Her kestrel helmet with an oval visor then appeared over her head, as lastly, her sword scabbard, sword, backpack, quiver of arrows, and her great bow equipped themselves to her in all the right places. And lastly, her Pink Kestrel Zord appeared in flight briefly behind her as she struck her final pose and announced, "Kestrel Rescue Ranger Pink!"

They withheld any explosions for now since they were inside their own base and after looking themselves over, they all shouted, "Power Down!" which returned them to normal.

Deryk of Parousia now said, "Yas can do rescue work in yer 'ome countries if the need strikes yer fancy. And Flow, the courier roos fancy themselves as fast as or faster than Sonic and the Flash. Yas are under no obligation to join them since joining them usually results in a Dreamtime male-pregnancy. Yes, ladies, yas 'eard me correctly. Male-Pregnancy. Ah 'ope yas rangers are smarter than past rangers were so this doesn't 'appen if yas can avoid it. Ah do need to get going now. Remember, keep tabs on yer local time so no one gets grounded. Ah get the feeling that my father Lord Kiel wants to speak to me." And he vanished out of the base with Kitta.

Lari K smiled at his team. "Ah think we can do this, mates. Just because Ah am the leader doesn't mean that Ah am beyond learning from the rest of yas."

Daz smiled. "Perhaps later I can teach you how to ride a horse properly."

Rayce smirked. "Deryk of Parousia and Kitta just arrived in Silver Plains where Nightflight and Lord Kiel are waiting on him." He smiled. "I love using these galactic location powers."

"Galactic Location powers you say?" Carmen said, arching an eye. "Is it something similar to the GPS that we take for granted on our phones for location-based services?"

The Flow looked curiously at the Irish newcomer's belt buckle curiously. "That buckle on your belt... it looks like a superhero logo. Are you a fan?"

"It's a piece of my ancestry..." said Nollaig nonchalantly. "Nothing seems to be heroic about Irish history; a lot of bloody wars. My relatives in County Kilkenny say we are descended from an old kingdom long forgotten with that emblem, but Mum and Dad dismissed it as blasphemous blarney."

            Chapter Six: Teammate Bonding.

Rayce smiled at Carmen. "According to my godfather Drayce, whom is a white Interstellar Shadodrak himself, these powers permit the user to locate anyone or anything which we are told the name of or given information about. It can be useful to watch people without tipping them off that we are looking at them. I am not sure how I inherited Drayce's ability since he supposedly has never been human nor roo, like my parents... but when I hit puberty, I started to develop the ability as if it was as natural as breathing. GPS simply gives you a location which is not moving or in which most people know about. I can locate other things which GPS has no knowledge of."

Lari Kingston said, "Could yas find Dylan Smart of the Mascot Riders? Yer father Studpaw would 'ave knowledge of the now adult in question during the time 'e ended up as a tree kangaroo with Lexington and Seth in the Kangaroo Order Cavern which was misnamed as Kane's Cavern, yet wasn't."

Rayce grinned. "I often look in on Uncle Dylan since he is Kamen Rider Galliard, a were-cougar of the Gibbous Moon. He befriended Lord Peter in the early days." He closed his eyes and said, "He is currently near the Trigram Boomer's main team at Hobson's Gorge where the War Spiders have reportedly teamed up with Galactic Mantis Warriors. You would think they would have learned their lesson after the defeat of the War Crocs whom teamed up with the Dragon Warriors of New Tatsu-Lan. I guess they thought the War Crocs handled it badly."

Lari K remarked, "Despite the War Crocs being defeated, memory serves me that there were four separate War Factions during the War and the Crocs went with the Dragons to Mongolia which drew rangers far and near to take their eyes off of Australia temporarily. This would 'ave given the spiders a chance to strengthen their forces and as for the War Dingos and the War Kangaroos, Lord Cary's son, Easttail was but one Were-Kangaroo commander whom decided to pull out of the war. The others never declared peace; only Easttail did."

Lari K. then rubbed one hand over his chin. "Rayce... Ah don't know if yer powerful enough to do this, but... its worth a shot. The Dreamtime Lords and Ladies as well as all of the Mobian Freedom Fighters searched Australia and New Zealand several times over looking for my cousin, the real Dreamtrail version of Lari Carrington Knightmane. Can yas find him if 'e is alive or locate 'is remains if 'e is indeed dead? Ah think all of the Outback is getting tired of the fact that no one can seem to find my cousin of whom Lord Cary is based off of."

Rayce arched an eye and said, "That is what Nightflight is asking of Lord Kiel and the Pouches right now. But I can give it a shot, if you truly want closure with this..."

Lari K. lowered his gaze. "Please... do it. Lord Kiel 'as suffered enough."

As Rayce closed his eyes, Daz patted him on the shoulder, saying, "Take your time; it is like a spirit walk... You can do it."

Rayce focused hard on the information given before he began to see a location in his mind. "I see... a riverside camp site... there are no tents there now but there is the markings in the mud where a fire pit once was. Within the ground under the location of where one tent once stood, I see..." He paused... starting to look sick to his stomach.

Lari and Daz shook Rayce gently, as Lari K said, "Stop focusing on it, Rayce. Open yer eyes. Once yas no longer feel sick, yas can tell us what yas saw or sensed. Yas gave me enough information on where to look for him."

Rayce opened his eyes as he sat down hard in his team seat and he sobbed a little. "It was gruesome. I started to see how it happened. How can my godfather deal with sights like that?"

Daz hugged Rayce gently before going to a nearby sink to get him a glass of water. "Sip slowly, Rayce. What happened and when did it happen?"

Rayce sipped on the water slowly as he regained his composure. "I never want to see that again. But I can tell you what I recall of it."

Lari K. asked, "Was North Lonewolf still in the states or was 'e in Australia when this occurred? As in, 'ad 'e met my cousin before this gruesome event occurred."

Rayce remarked, "He was at what was called the Sidarius Station at the time and he was involved with the Boomer Force but no, he had never met your cousin before this horrible day. This was even before the building of the clubhouse. Lord Kiel had noticed this boy at the campsite a few times but by the time he refocused on Blackall once again, your cousin was gone and there was only Cary. The Boomer Force had been called out to go deal with a Dreamtime menace sighting. Sakar was testing his all-new Kangacroc warriors; before that outing he had only had the Crocaroos to challenge the Boomer Force. During a ranger caused explosion just over the hill and across the river from Blackall, one Kangacroc was injured and thrown clear over the hill where he crashed into the river near the campsite tents. He dragged himself into the closest tent to hide himself from the rangers if they decided to go looking for him; they didn't. They assumed that the blast obliterated the enemy and they never thought to be thorough in their outing. And..." Rayce shuddered as he took a slow sip of water again. Rayce looked up at Lari K before continuing... "Your cousin showed up at the campsite to do some writing in his adventure journal. He was upset that no one in school seemed to like him since his father was a school teacher. When he reached the tent he often used, he opened the flap and when he saw what he thought was a costumed man laying inside his tent, he barely had time to say, What are yas doing in my tent? When the Kangacroc grabbed him and yanked him inside the tent where he proceeded to kill and... eat... your cousin. When he was done, he dug a hole under the tent and he dropped your cousin's bones and skull into the hole before filling it in and covering it up again." He got up and headed for the restroom where he felt the need to throw up.

Daz was quiet after hearing of this atrocity. "Is this why we are now Rescue Rangers?"

Lari K knew he couldn't let it end like this as he went after Rayce and said through the door. "Was there anything else, Rayce?"

Rayce (between vomiting sounds) said, "The demons learned of this event first and they chose to disguise one of their young demons to take your cousin's place and see about recruiting innocent children out of the school by the means for which we all know the history of today. The clubhouse and attracting the Boomer Force to the clubhouse. The Kangacroc returned to Sakar and informed him of how he had killed and eaten a human child at the riverside camp site. Later when Cary appeared, Sakar asked his Kangacroc about the kill event and when the story was told again, Sakar focused on the new Lari C and he saw that it was a demon pretending to be the boy. Since Sakar hated the unnatural even more than he hated the Rangers, he debated on whether to send the school a warning or not. He would later get too distracted to care what Cary did." Lari K turned and as he walked through the base he used his powers to morph before going to the tool shed to fetch a shovel and a bucket so he could go dig up his cousin's body for a special trip to find Roolock for a favor. Daz looked to the others quietly. What a thing to find out.

              Chapter Seven: A Life Rekindled.

At the site of the Blackall Barcoo River camp site, a place Kingston had been to many times before, he carefully walked out the path to where the tents had once stood and he could see the barely notable remains of the fire pit before he walked over into the spot where his cousin's favorite tent had once stood. He then set the bucket down and he began to slowly dig up the spot. Digging was something that he and Wes knew all too well when they opened Pandora's box back during Outback Rescue and Lokimar escaped from the box. An hour into the dig resulted in the shovel striking what felt to be a solid hard-bound book that had been buried under that spot. Carefully, clearing the mud and sand away from the spot, he lifted the book out of the ground and saw the words on the cover. Lawrence Carrington Knightmane's Adventure Journal.

Opening the book carefully to the last entry, he saw what had been inscribed as the final entry.

"An American joey joined our school today. The bullies harassed him until I made them leave the boy alone. I learned that his name was Timothy Celeron. He didn't want to move to Australia but his dad had gotten a job transfer and now he was enrolled in our school. But aside from that encounter before classes began, I had more of the same in school. No one likes me because I am the son of a school teacher. They are afraid that I'd be a stool pigeon and ruin all of their fun. Aside from Timmy, I wish I were dead. At least then the students would get what they wanted... a dead stool pigeon. But for Timmy, he was like the answer to my prayers since he knew nothing about me previously. Oh, and his main quirk... he is a Sonic The Hedgehog fan... like, all the way past cool. I believe that is how the lingo goes. If he knew what kind of life I had in school, he probably wouldn't want to be my friend at all.

              Signed, Lawry Knightmane.

PS: I am going to go down to my favorite camp site to roleplay that I am a kangaroo; they are my favorite creatures in the whole wide world, right along side those cute donkeys that I got to pet that one time at the Gilliam Station when I was three. They were so well behaved around me. Mr. Gilliam said that they were so stubborn around him and his wife. If the Crocodiles weren't so creepy, I wouldn't mind adding them to my likes list."

Kingston said, "Yas will get another chance, cuz... Everyone 'as been looking for yas."

Beneath where he had found the book, he saw the skull laying neatly on top of the bones that were in the hole. Now it was time to carefully collect the pieces and place them into the bucket. Beneath the bones he found the rotted remains of his cousin's clothes and wallet ID which had his primary school picture ID still within it. Finding what he had been looking for, he was ready to go find Roolock; and the first place to check was the Absolute Zero since the old elder power and his wife liked to dine and dance there.

Luck was obviously on his side today because Roolock was actually sitting in the tavern at the bar counter. But his wife with the paralyzing eye lashes was no where in sight. "Roolock! Just the elder power I want to talk to! This is not a pleasure visit!"

Zero suddenly feeling the fear to go hide in his own kitchen, left the bar counter and went into the back rooms.

Roolock turned to when he saw it was Lari K, smirked as he said, "Oh, its just yas. What do yas want, Kingston?"

Kingston handed the open journal to Roolock as he said, "Read the last entry. Ah found Lari Carrington's Adventure Journal."

When Roolock had read the entry, he thumbed back through the other pages carefully, eventually finding a rather amusing entry which had his name on it. "I finally got lucky in seeing that crotchety old Elder Power that the Dreamtime Lords call Roolock. It seems that he and another kangaroo were gathering weeds and old sticks from the far side of the river. Had either one been closer, I would have given the closest one a hug. I love kangaroos especially when they come this close to town. They say Old Roolock is Immoral. I'm not sure what that means, but I have been told that clothing means nothing to him; he would rather see a joey naked. So I dropped my pants and undershorts to let him get a good look. He didn't seem to notice but the kangaroo boomer with him sure noticed. In fact, he was so distracted by the fact that I let my pants drop that he had to be shaken awake by Roolock before the two of them teleported away. I hope the kangaroo didn't get in trouble because of me. This is the first time I have ever seen a kangaroo so close to the tents like that. And I sure hope it won't be the last time. If only my luck in school was this good... Signed, Lawry Knightmane." Roolock then handed the journal back to Lari K. "A nice read but what is that to me?"

Lari K then held up the bucket of bones as he showed Roolock the school ID. "Ah found my cousin's skeletal remains after Drayce's godson used 'is powers to tell me where my cousin was buried. 'e was killed by one of Sakar's very first Kangacrocs before the club'ouse was ever built by the Cary fake. Yas once said during Outback Rescue that Lari was one of yer citizens and no one was going to take 'im away from yas. Ah am asking yas to 'elp revive Lawry so 'e gets 'is second chance. 'e didn't deserve to be cut down in that particular way. The Kangacroc killed and ate 'im. And unless yas 'elp out with this, Ah will go tell Lord Kiel that yas arranged for 'im to be killed. And yas know 'ow much Kiel cares about my cousin."

Roolock then slapped Lari K's ranger helmet only to get the feeling that he hit the Holy Pouch himself which stunned his paw-hand. "One of the 'oly Pouches made yer ranger outfit. Ouch. Ah do care about Lawry; it is just more fun to watch 'umans get all riled up. Threatening an elder power is not a 'ealthy way to get me to do what yas want."

Lari K smirked within the helmet. "Yer not the only elder power that Ah know about, Roolock. Yas were the first one that Ah thought of. If yas refused to 'elp, Ah was going to go petition the Arranger of Dreamwolf in person to get 'is 'elp with the words that yas gave up the rights to my cousin."

Roolock said, "Ah know yer uptight, Kingy, but there are things to prepare and people to inform. Did yas find every bone in the burial 'ole?" Lari K said, "Ah sure 'ope so, Roolock. Whom else do we 'ave to inform before yas do this?"

"My cousin, Lord Kiel, deserves to know, primarily. And Ah will need to send Timothy Celeron the message that 'is first Australian friend 'as been found. Back when Lawry attended Blackall Primary School, none of the others whom would later join Cary's version of the team were ever interested in Lawry at all. Timmy was the only friend whom was overjoyed that someone interrupted the bullies that were pestering 'im. Yer cousin was Timmy's 'ero. That is why 'e should be informed of this event. Even at the end of Outback Rescue, Timmy 'imself said that the team didn't feel like the friends that 'e ever expected to be associated with yer cousin. 'e some'ow knew as the old team were on the verge of disbanding, that Cary wasn't Lawry. Cary was never the 'ero that Timmy experienced when 'e first joined the school. Yer cousin defending Timmy was what Kiel 'ad seen before 'e got called away to deal with something else. By the time 'e focused on Blackall again, the demons had Cary in place."

                Chapter Eight: The As-He-Was Rite.

Gathered at a Dreamtime Ceremonial Circle within Roolock's home realm were Roolock, Clarissa, Pouchlaw, Ray Lonewolf, Parcelpaw, Kiel, Nightflight, Super Super Crazy Kitty, Zale Kent (SDCC in his civilian identity,) Lari K, Timmy the Hedgehog, Nitro the Hedgehog, the Freedom Fighters of Mobius, Deryk of Parousia, Sherwood of Earth, the core members of Aussie Thunder, Lord Cary and North Lonewolf. The latter two always seemed to know when a version of Lari C was ever found. But imagine their surprise to be invited to this event to lay to rest once and for all.

Zale was using a Toonmaster's video camera that was magical in its own right which permitted him to document this event.

Roolock said, "Earlier today, Lari Kingston Knightmane made an inquiry of 'is newest team member, Rayce Sonarpaw St. John, to utilize 'is galactic location powers to find where the real Lawry Carrington Knightmane was either 'eld prisoner or 'ad been laid to rest after 'is death. Lawry Carrington Knightmane 'ad been slain by one of Sakar's very first Kangacroc warriors just after a fight with the Boomer Force. The injured Kangacroc dragged 'imself into Lawry's camp site tent to rest and recover from the attack. When Lawry arrived at the camp to do some role-playing, 'e opened 'is tent, saw what was inside and 'ad barely asked what the guy was doing in 'is tent when the brutal killing attack was performed and then... the Kangacroc ate the boy as a meal. This would never 'ave 'appened if the Boomer Force 'ad located every monster they had encountered that day in the dunes just beyond Blackall. So in my 'umble opinion, Ah 'ave to call this event: the Day the Boomer Force Failed to Protect 'umanity. Lawry didn't deserve to be slain in that manner. The demons learned of this event and they decided to use it to send in a young demon wearing the likeness of Lawry. This young demon was known as Carrington Lionel Knight. Notice that the entire last name was not used. The demons made a mistake on that part. And young Timmy Celeron noticed just after 'e met the new version of 'e whom was pretending to be 'is savior. 'e continued to 'ang out with this fake in 'opes that this phony would reveal what 'e did with Lawry. Cary also at first misspelled 'is own name which a few of the teachers noticed. Lawry was misspelled as L-A-R-I, a spelling that only Kingston used. But the demons didn't know about 'im at the time. And now, permit me to read yas all the last entry in Lawrence Carrington Knightmane's Adventure Journal..."

PS: I am going to go down to my favorite camp site to role-play that I am a kangaroo; they are my favorite creatures in the whole wide world, right along side those cute donkeys that I got to pet that one time at the Gilliam Station when I was three. They were so well behaved around me. Mr. Gilliam said that they were so stubborn around him and his wife. If the Crocodiles weren't so creepy, I wouldn't mind adding them to my likes list."

Roolock looked at the audience and said, "Lari Kingston Knight, the new GO-Rescue Red Ranger, asked me to perform a revival for 'is cousin so the bloke got 'is second chance. If anyone 'ere knows of a reason to leave this joey in the realm beyond, let them speak up now or forever 'old their peace... Anyone?"

Tears welled up in Timmy's eyes. Because he met Lawry, it made life a lot easier. "I owe him a debt, no matter how old it is. For him to know how much he helped me when I transferred..." He wondered what would've been different if he was allowed to live. Whatever part of him was human after a long while, he was now wishing that Lawry would know how much he changed his life, although his life has taken different turns that led him to Mobian life. "Please, he deserves a chance."

North had tears but for a different reason. He made a fool of himself for all these years. He looked to Cary after seeing his remains and hugged him deeply. After all the shit he put Cary and others through, he will be relieved when this would be put to rest.

Ray Lonewolf had his arms crossed. He was ever the skeptic, yet associating himself with Lord Pouchlaw and regaining his adolescent youth was enough to make him more curious of how it goes, especially with a boy dead for nearly two decades. He kept the judgmental thoughts to himself of why an Elder Power would put a such a dark mark on a Ranger team over not being to save everyone. He saw part of the face of the hooded member of the Outback Rescue team keeping close to a Mobian and a young apprentice Samurai, but shook his head. Must be my imagination... Ray thought to himself, dismissing a weird idea.

Roolock waited for a moment more but since he was greeted with silence, aside from tears, he turned to the ceremonial altar and he began the rite of As-He-Was. The brazier torches were lit and the incense pyre had the incense powder added to the flames. A sweet fragrant smell wafted all over the realm. And then Roolock's most prominent sons at all four corners of the realm got the signal to begin playing their Didgeridoos And a younger choir of young joeys began singing in Aborigine Kangaroo speak, the favored song of all kangaroos. Who knows what troubles the Joey Mob can get into today? Listen to the wind, mate; and the Orders will know and all smile when the Joey Mob play. Roolock was instantly back in his warlock gear that he had only worn once before way back during another rescue outing that cemented Sakar's ultimatum to punish tech-using rangers. He raised his scepter on high and as lightning slowly arced down out of the black sky, the slow bolt struck the pile of bones which then seemed to rise up and come together albeit a skeleton, as it danced around the ceremonial platform before falling slowly backward into what appeared to be Caucasian colored Jell-O gelatin. The entire ceremonial platform lit up in flame bursts as more lightning rained down out of the black sky and each bolt struck the gelatin pool. Then what appeared to be two blue sapphires floated down out of the black sky and landed in the gelatin before sinking down to join the eye sockets. The blue sapphires reminded the Mobians of Chaos Emeralds in the way they glowed. And then strands of what appeared to be thin golden threads poured out of the darkness where they two sank into the gelatin as they attached themselves to the skull within the goop. A beating heart then came down out of the dark sky at the end of what appeared to be a rainbow before landing in the gelatin and attaching itself within the rib cage. Roolock then wove the magic for placing the mark of Mudfoot Joey upon the upper arms and upper thighs which would warn anyone seeing them that this was a citizen of Roolock's realm. And then the ceremonial altar went dark as the flames extinguished... and just moments later, a brilliant light erupted from the darkened gelatin pool as a whole skin, flesh, and organ restored young human slowly climbed out of the pool and briefly stopped on all fours in front of the edge of the goop pool before slowly rising to his feet, albeit entirely naked, Lawry Carrington Knightmane with the spectacular lights beaming up behind him walked down across the altar and he presented himself for inspection to Roolock out of respect. "Yer grace..." he said softly. "Ah am yers to command." Roolock smiled as he rapped his scepter staff on the ground one time which caused Kangaroo Academy Rank Two Cadet Clothes to appear over Lawry's naked body, yes, with undergarments so the boy didn't chafe. "Yer friend Timmy has waited long to greet yas in this new day and age. Lord Kiel wants to give yas a gift as well. Aussie Thunder and the Toon Titans as well as the Freedom Fighters all want to see yas as well. As my citizen, yas may return to my realm whenever yas like. As sworn on by the 'oly Pouch! Now go and be with yer friends. Ah 'ave an altar to clean up."

                End of Chapter Eight.

Epilogue: The Life and Times of Lawrence Carrington Knightmane.

Roolock followed up his advice by saying, "And remember, Lawry... be immoral once in a while!" Lawry stepped down off of the ceremonial altar where he looked around for Timmy first since Roolock mentioned him first. Lari K stepped up and he handed Lawry his cleaned up Adventure Journal. "Yas might need this in the future, Cuz. Timmy is standing over by the red and black hedgehog. Yas might say, 'e went local." Lari K then stepped away from his cousin, thinking, Its finally over.

Lord Kiel would let others visit with Lawry before he greeted the boy restored to life. Although he was thinking of the surprise Roolock got when he slapped the Ranger Helmet made by the Holy Pouch.

Lawry approached Timmy the Hedgehog. "What level did yas get on yer 'and'eld before yas joined Sonic's clan?"

Timmy hugged Lawry deeply. "Two-Hundred Sixty-Four." He knew he couldn't be aged down to the same age, but he was grateful. "I owe a great debt to you that will probably not be repaid. If it weren't for you I'd likely have gotten the flagpole by those bullies all those years ago." Nitro smirked. "Another boy to share between the both of us, Timmy?"

The hooded human morphed into his Gold Hedgehog Ranger form, and used his recently-unlocked Chaos Control ability (completing the Shadow levels on his handheld morpher) to appear behind Nitro, and pulled him back a few meters using his courier speed. He was still not fond of how the Nitro character acted in his handheld, and remembered how it affected him using Nitro's ability in battle. In his disguised voice, he said, "Don't yas think that it's a bad idea to be 'itting on a 'uman like that after being married to Timmy for many years, Nitro?"

"You are no fun, Vlad. Guess Sony hasn't given you any boy mom energy yet, Stud." Nitro winked. Vlad responded with gritted teeth. "Be lucky yer mum isn't 'ere to knock yas upside yer 'ead mate."

Col. North stayed away. It was not the Lari Carrington he thought he knew. He then looked to Cary and smiled to him for the first time in years. "If you want to go pay your respects, love. Go ahead. Then we can go home."

Cary was glad that Roolock had mentally asked permission to copy out the Lari Carrington memories and training from his personal experience when he masqueraded as Lari. He was also glad that North no longer could tell a real Lari from a fake. And that suited him just fine. He hugged North with a smile. "Ah just need to say one thing to 'im and then we can go 'ome." He then hopped over to where the human boy was standing and he said, "Lawry? Ah'm Cary, the idiot former demon whom kept yer name and memory alive throughout the 2009 to 2013 era. Ah say former demon because in the years after Outback Rescue ended, Mathilda granted demons whom wanted to embrace normal status the ability to be alive for the first time in our lives. A good many demons chose to stop being demons at that point. After which Ah 'ad to serve more time at the Kangaroo Academy for my former attitude and crimes. Anyway, I'm married to Col. North and we 'ave a good number of children. 'owever... there is one child whom fully believed that yas were 'is true father. The rest support Col. North and Ah. Yas will likely meet Southpaw later on. 'e is a well adjusted Were-Kangaroo whom supports everything yas stand for. Anyway, that's all Ah wanted to say to yas. Ah 'ope yas will forgive this stupid former demon for dragging yer name through some bad moments. Knuckles thought that Ah was impossible to train. KA Prime straightened me out in the end. See yas around, Lawry." And he hopped back over to Col. North. "Time to 'ead 'ome before Bindi gets to wondering where we sneaked off to without telling 'er about the party."

Knuckles whom was there with the Freedom Fighters approached Lawry at this point and said, "Your human son, Michael Knightmane, is the leader of Freedom Force in Northern Japan. I sometimes train him although lately he is caught up in all of the lessons I have been giving him and that makes me proud to call him my friend. As for you, Timmy... There is a time difference between Earth and Mobius; I thought you remembered this. One Earth year is equal to One Mobian Month in regards to aging. So you are not as old as you might think. I know it seems longer, but moreso lies the fun in being a Mobian." He then looked at Nitro. "No, Lawry is not to be your next topper. You have one husband. What more do you want?"

Sonic was keeping his mouth shut for a change. The less he said, the less chance of him spouting off something pompous. Not to mention, Sally promised him chili dogs if he behaved himself on this outing.

Tails approached Lawry and hugged him. "Hedgehogs are overrated, Lawry. I mean, look how often they lose control of themselves... compared to how many foxes there are. You can hang out with me any time you like."

Lawry knelt down and gave Tails a good scratching up and down his fur. "Ah'll keep that in mind, Tails. Thanks." And then he rose back up again.

Eddie approached Lawry with the other Aussie Thunder core members. "Ever since we first met Cary and learned of yer name, we wanted to 'ave the real yas in our team of Aussie Thunder. The Mobians gave us a star ship 'eadquarters so through the shortcut yas could keep in touch with Timmy very easily. But if yas 'ave other plans, we will understand. We will give yas yer space if that is yer desire."

Lawry replied, "Ah need time to consider yer offer, Eddie. Right now, Ah am just 'appy to be alive."

Finally, Lord Kiel approached Lawry and he hugged the boy for the longest time. "Ah am so glad to see yas, Lawry, for real this time. Ah'm not going to be a leech, mate... Yas just do what yas want to do with yer life. And later when yer ready for bigger and better things, Come find me... we will talk about destiny then. Deal?"

Lawry grinned as he hugged Kiel in return. "Ah really love kangaroos, Kiel. Its a deal. A shame Roolock 'ad to wait until tonight to see me naked. 'ad 'e been paying attention years ago, 'e could 'ave gotten a free show instead of 'is son getting the view that immoral roos won't forget. In the meantime... Ah feel the need to go build a new club'ouse." He winked at Kiel with a dopey grin.

Kiel made a dopey Were-Kangaroo grin in return. "Ah can make that grin, too, mate. Don't fall be'ind in yer magical studies. Yas can find me in Kangaroo Town through the LEAPS shortcut to the Ranger X training grounds. That's also where Outback Legend trains 'is pile of rocks. It's an inside joke, Lawry. Twenty Earth years equals twenty Mobian Months. Timmy is only four years older than yas by Mobian Reckoning, but age should never stop friendships. Right?"

Lawry smiled. "Yas know it, mate! Now to plan my new club'ouse!" Kiel then handed Lawry a familiar wooden plaque to nail up to the back wall inside the clubhouse.
