    Wildfire Riders - Theme Song

    "The flame is ever burning,
    like the winds within my soul;

Tho the fires are ever building,
It's time to rock and roll.

    Wildfire...
We are riding 'cross the storm.

    Wildfire...
    The Riders are keeping warm.

    Wildfire...
    O'er cracklin' embers, cry.

    Wildfire...
My heart must ask for why.

    Wildfire! Wildfire!

    Blow away...

My love was like the ash within the wind,
    like the winds within my soul;

Tho you went and ran away to him,
    The emptiness takes it's toll.

    Wildfire...
We are riding 'cross the storm.

    Wildfire...
    The Riders are keeping warm.

    Wildfire...
    O'er cracklin' embers, cry.

    Wildfire...
My heart must ask for why.

    Wildfire! Wildfire!
    Blow away..."

    Chapter One - Mission Journal

    Journal Entry 01:01

My father, the governor of Cowlifurnia, decided to send me to the Fire Department in Wyld Canyon. From what I am told, it is about as far away from the city as one can get. However, they do have their own Department-Use air field for helicopters and smoke jumper carriers. But I won't be going in by air. Nor by car or bus. Last reports on this Fire Department was that they were beginning to get lax in their duties and a bit lazy by fire fighting ethics. Their station Captain was an old friend of dad's in the war. He's a tough old black panther named Jack Forsyth, no relation to the famous Forsyth. Anyway, Jack supposedly runs a tough shift. But when reports stopped coming from the fire station, my dad got worried.

That's why he chose to send me in. And just who am I, you ask? Locke Norward. Also known as Revolution, the fastest albino Dalmatian quarterback on the East Coast. But these Western hicks are not likely to know that, so I assume they will give me some trouble at first. Not to mention my mode of transport. My motorcycle is probably nothing too great, but like me, it is built to last. I get to prowl around in my civvies during this trip which suits me just fine. Back East, they used call me the white blur. Meaning that when I run, nothing catches up with me.

Dad wanted me to be a fire fighter, but football was calling my name, then I gained my super powers. It's funny how I am now getting ready to waltz right in to the very profession that dad wanted me to pursue. Maybe this time... I can make him proud of me. I know I disappointed him by pursuing football, but this time... I have another chance.

    I am on a mission and I won't fail.

    Wyld Canyon

Most of the equine and canine fire fighters that were hanging out at the station were surprised when they saw the motorcycle pull up into their driveway. Probably more surprised by the entirely black leather clad muscle bound rider.

"Who do you suppose that is?" asked an Andalusian equine who had been checking the equipment on their fire truck.

An Alsatian canine slowly stepped out of the fire truck and approached the motorcycle and rider. "Time to find out, I suppose. I just hope this isn't going to be trouble."

Locke slowly lifted his visor and looked directly at the approaching Alsatian. "I'm looking for Captain Forsyth. Where can I find him?"

And that stopped the Alsatian cold in his tracks. "Um... er... you are a little late. Captain Forsyth is... he's..."

Locke arched an eye. "He's what, man? Just spit it out. Where is he?"

The Andalusian equine stepped forward and said, "He's dead. He died during a house fire mission late one night."

Locke wasn't expecting that. "So who is in charge out here then? How come no one reported this to the capital?"

The Alsatian canine said, "Why don't you come on inside and we'll try to explain to you on what's been going on out here."

Locke was genuinely curious now. This had all the trappings and the stench of a mystery. And he was going to find out why.
