    "Here come the Power Rangers,
    Charging forward! Pow!,
    Fighting evil demons,
    Soul striking right now!

    Calling on their spirits,
Powering the weapons of the way,
    Go Power Rangers,
    Soul Strikers of the day!

    Striker Force!
    Striker Force!
    Calling on their soul!

    Striker Force!

    Chapter 01
    .
When I first brought him in to join my operatives, I wasn't quite sure if he could pull it off or not. I mean, it was risky tricking him into coming to that fake restaurant with the balcony tables just so he could watch my original three ranger operatives in action against one of the demon's monsters. My original operatives needed help. That's why chose to bring Vance Anderson in to join their team. I think I made a good choice.

But my manners... I am Commander Korwin McColt of the World of Atlantis' Aerial Knight Battalion. In my dimension, we fight demons and other monstrosities constantly while trying to uphold a safe and peaceful society. Thus when we learned that Asmodeus had given the order to invade Earth, we knew that we had to rise to the challenge to stop him. But fighting his forces there was not like fighting them here. He had apparently been studying the world for some time and was used to the twists and turns that it could provide him in battles. We were not prepared for that.

That is why I chose to gather these people together. I think they make a great team. My striker force rangers. I just hope they can get over the public identity hero clause of this deal. Otherwise, I think the monetary part of the deal is what really convinced Vance that he should do this. In our dimension, we declassified the use of gold and silver as money ages ago making such valueless. But here on Earth, the more you have, the wealthier you are. Yes, I believe the one million Earth dollar offer really made the difference. I particularly like Vance; he seems more prepared than the rest. I just hope they don't kill him.

But I am sure you would like to see for yourselves how the team came together, wouldn't you? Then let me allow a flashback to show you the origin of Power Rangers Striker Force. But first... we need a proper setting; all good adventures need a proper setting. And so without further adieu...

"You said the team travels a lot, didn't you?" the light brown haired, green eyed young man asked of the sports team interviewing agent.

"That is indeed correct, Mr. Anderson," the thin black haired older man replied. "The team plays up and down the western seaboard."

"I told you... call me Vance. Mr. Anderson makes me seem like an old man."

"And what do you think of full contact sports, Vance?"

But before Vance could reply, the balcony dining platform was invaded by armed men in black with black sunglasses! Vance exclaimed, "What the hell...?"

"Just stay seated!" one of the enforcers said to Vance, as another spoke into a walkie-talkie. "Sir! Area secured, except for a pair of gentlemen dining in booth seventeen!"

Just then, an alien humanoid horseman wearing a military outfit stepped out of the building and looked over the agent and Vance with a casual and visual sweep. "I don't think they'll say anything." He then raised a communication device to his mouth. "Area secure, Rangers! It's striking time!"

Vance was a bit overwhelmed by the sudden activity, but then he noticed that these strangers' attention were focused out toward a nearby park. And what he saw was a titanium devil bull wrecking havoc. And standing on the edge of the park in black uniforms were a guy and two girls. All three were blonde with tanned skin.

The male ranger exclaimed, "Ready, sibs?" The the females replied, "Ready, bro!" The male ranger exclaimed, "Rangers! Time to suit up!" Vance watched with obvious interest. He was in awe that he was witnessing the debut of a new Power Rangers team. He had momentarily forgotten about the guards around him.

The male ranger formed his hands into fists, then struck each of his shoulders with his fists, which caused his morphers to appear. "Soul Striker!" His surroundings went dark as a field of ever burning flames rose up all around him. A sudden flare of light hid his body from sight for a short moment. When the flare vanished, he was wearing a one piece white leather jumpsuit with a black outlined oriental red dragon imprinted on the front and the back. Next, his shiny red gloves and boots appeared on his hands and feet. Finally, the soul of an oriental red dragon erupted all around him, as it transformed into a cloud of energy around his head, solidifying into his red helmet with a shining ruby set into it's forehead, just above the shiny black visor. Then, the roar of the dragon's soul was heard all around, as the flames vanished, and he struck his battle pose for all to see. "Dragon Soul Striker! Red Ranger!" Quick close-ups of his new ranger costume occurred, before stopping on his red dragon symbol!

The first female ranger formed her hands into fists, then struck each of her shoulders with her fists, which caused her morphers to appear. "Soul Striker!" Her surroundings went dark as a field of ever burning flames rose up all around her. A sudden flare of light hid her body from sight for a short moment. When the flare vanished, she was wearing a one piece white leather jumpsuit with a black outlined oriental white tiger imprinted on the front and the back. Next, her shiny white gloves and boots appeared on her hands and feet. Finally, the soul of an oriental white tiger erupted all around her, as it transformed into a cloud of energy around her head, solidifying into her white helmet with a shining diamond set into it's forehead, just above the shiny black visor. Then, the roar of the tiger's soul was heard all around, as the flames vanished, and she struck her battle pose for all to see. "Tiger Soul Striker! White Ranger!" Quick close-ups of her new ranger costume occurred, before stopping on her white tiger symbol!

The second female ranger formed her hands into fists, then struck each of her shoulders with her fists, which caused her morphers to appear. "Soul Striker!" Her surroundings went dark as a field of ever burning flames rose up all around her. A sudden flare of light hid her body from sight for a short moment. When the flare vanished, she was wearing a one piece white leather jumpsuit with a black outlined oriental blue falcon imprinted on the front and the back. Next, her shiny blue gloves and boots appeared on her hands and feet. Finally, the soul of an oriental blue falcon erupted all around her, as it transformed into a cloud of energy around her head, solidifying into her blue helmet with a shining sapphire set into it's forehead, just above the shiny black visor. Then, the call of the falcon's soul was heard all around, as the flames vanished, and she struck her battle pose for all to see. "Falcon Soul Striker! Blue Ranger!" Quick close-ups of her new ranger costume occurred, before stopping on her blue falcon symbol!

"Power Rangers Striker Force!" the three shouted as Red, White, and Blue explosions erupted behind them, while they struck their battle poses.

    Chapter 02
    .
Vance felt a rush of very interested goosebumps all over himself as he watched the Rangers.

At that moment, the three rangers clad in white leather costumes with colored helmets, gloves, and boots launched themselves at the Titanium Bull monster, utilizing their martial arts skills and agile prowess. Overall, the White Tiger Ranger seemed to be the best fighter, not being afraid to aim where no self respecting hero would aim.

On the balcony overlook, Vance watched the team fight against the Titanium Bull with deep interest. He could see for himself that they were experienced in their knowledge of fighting, yet they did seem to lack something that was not apparent right away. While he watched the Rangers and monster fight below, he didn't notice the sports agent being escorted out of the balcony area and being paid for his cooperation in getting Vance to this location.

The red ranger leaped at the Titanium Bull and struck at it's metallic side with a resounding punch, but for all the attack was worth, the bull monster simply knocked the red ranger away.

Then it was the two female rangers' turn as they both leaped into action against the bull. The blue ranger aimed high, as was the lady like thing to do, while the white ranger aimed low without regret nor pity for her target. However, after a few strikes, the bull knocked the two ladies back away from him as well.

Vance watched as the rangers regrouped, and at that moment, the red ranger lifted his left fist up and pushed the communicator button. Instantly, the alien horse's wrist communicator beeped and he activated it in response.

"Sir! Permission to summon our power partners!"

The alien horse replied, "Permission granted, Jerry. And tell Carla not to take these battles so personally. She is fighting quite sloppily, unlike Cindy, of course."

"With all due respect, sir... tell Carla yourself after the battle! I like my ass right where I can find it!" And he shut off the communicator and nodded to his fellow rangers.

The alien horse chuckled, as he once again lifted his binoculars to watch the battle.

Vance blinked his eyes as he overheard the conversation, then he focused on the battle again.

The red ranger, who was obviously Jerry, shouted, "World of Atlantis! Red Dragon!" And in a blast of a flaming inferno a portal opened up and a large saddled red dragon emerged from it and Jerry then leaped up and landed in the saddle, holding the reins! "Dragon King Volcanus!"

The white ranger, who was obviously Carla, shouted, "World of Atlantis! White Tiger!" And in a blast of frozen ice crystals a portal opened up and a large saddled white tiger emerged from it and Carla then leaped up and landed in the saddle, holding the reins! "Tiger King Tundaro!"

The blue ranger, who was obviously Cindy, shouted, "World of Atlantis! Blue Falcon!" And in a tornadic blast of clean air a portal opened up and a large saddled blue griffin emerged from it and Cindy then leaped up and landed in the saddle, holding the reins! "Falcon King Blitzkrieg!"

Vance quietly muttered, "Atlantis?" as he continued to watch the scene unfold before him.

Volcanus then took a mighty claw swipe at the metallic bull, striking but not denting the beast. Then Tundaro leaped into the fray and claw swiped at the bull, also striking but like the dragon, not making a dent. Then Blitzkrieg flew into the fray, and when his talons struck and raked, the sound of fingernails on a chalkboard rolled across the battlefield. But like his comrades, the bull monster wasn't even damaged. However, the Titanium Bull chose that moment to simply teleport away for reasons unknown. Either the sound of the raking was annoying or his boss summoned him back to the lair. Either way, then battle seemed to be over, as the rangers dismounted their power partners and the power partners headed back through their portals to their homes in the World of Atlantis. Then the three rangers powered down back into the black uniforms.

Jerry then activated his communicator once again. "Returning to base, sir. The monster fled but not because of injuries."

The alien horse replied into his communicator, "Your statement has been noted and logged. Report to Karson for your training classes the moment you get back to base. Commander McColt out." He then turned to look directly at Vance, who was staring back at the alien horse. "I was the one who arranged your meeting here, Vance Anderson. I am Commander Korwin McColt of the Aerial Knights of Atlantis. You are probably wondering why I asked you here." Vance glanced at the men in black suits, then back to the alien horse. "You arranged for me to come here? What for? I thought I was getting interviewed for a football team." Korwin hummed, as he glanced to the security guards and nodded his head. They all departed at that point. Korwin then turned to Vance again. "I am recruiting you for a greater team, Vance. I am hoping you'll join Striker Force with my rangers and I. We need another ranger and I chose you." Vance's mouth dropped open. This certainly wasn't the offer that he was hoping to hear. Korwin gently took Vance by the arm and began leading him along. "We'll return to Atlantis Corp where I will explain the rest of the offer. You can decide to accept or decline there."

Just outside of Portland, there stood a three dimensional letter "A" building where a person could easily see the letter "A" from all four sides of the building. It was quite impressive and very clean looking. The tinted window transport that carried both Korwin and Vance drove quietly toward one of the underground parking garages.

Once they had stopped in a parking spot, Korwin and Vance disembarked from the vehicle and began the walk into the building itself. After a short elevator ride, the doors slid open to a walkway that had a clear view of the corporate training chamber.

      Chapter 03
      .
Within, Vance could see a younger teenager wearing a black belt who was taking on all three of the Rangers that Vance had seen in action just an hour earlier. And the Rangers were getting their butts handed to them. Vance commented, "Who is the black belt, Korwin? He's really good, I have to admit. I am surprised he isn't a Ranger."

Korwin dryly replied, "That is Karson, my adopted son. And I cannot allow him to be a Ranger for a very good reason. And it involves his mother. But I didn't bring you here for that, Vance. I brought you here to further explain your being our next Power Ranger."

Down inside the training chamber, Karson had just thrown both Carla and Jerry directly into Cindy, causing all three of them to hit the training mat with an almost audible thud. "You three are pathetic! I thought you told me that you guys were the best fighters in Atlantis! And you let a young teenager defeat you while your commander watches! I can't believe you guys get to be Power Rangers with your inability to take down an opponent! I could do a far better job by myself and you all three know it! Now get on your feet and give me one hundred push ups! Then go hit the showers and try to remember what I just taught you in this training session! Geez, if this is the best Atlantis has to offer, then Earth is doomed for sure!"

And with that, he stalked off toward the escalator that led up to where Korwin and Vance were standing.

Korwin grinned. "They are that bad, are they?"

Karson growled, "Skunks could do a better job, father! If you'd let me become a Power Ranger, I could show the others in the field just how to win a battle!"

Korwin set a gaze on Karson. "You know the rules, Karson. I said no, unless your mother says yes. She thinks that you are studying your college prerequisites here at Atlantis Corp. You are lucky I am letting you train those three. Now run along... I have to convince our new Ranger to be to join us."

Karson looked directly at Vance. "Another loser? If he can beat me in a fight in the training chamber, I will treat him properly! Otherwise, my chip stays where it is! Firmly on my shoulder!" And he then stalked past the two and vanished down a corridor.

Vance sighed, then turned to Korwin. "He sounded upset, Korwin. Are you serious about your ultimatum about his mother, though? Would you really give in and let him be a Ranger if he asks her for permission to be one?"

Korwin replied, "Yes, I would let him be one. But to date, he hasn't so much as phoned his mother since he's been here. I think he is afraid that she will say no."

Vance said, "Why don't you take me down and introduce me to the others? I might be able to judge from their attitudes toward me on whether or not I will want to join your team. I was really looking forward to being in a football team."

Korwin nodded his head. "There won't be any sports on your world if Asmodeus succeeds in his plans. Come on, I'll take you down to meet the Wellington siblings."

And the two headed down the escalator into the training chamber where the three were just finishing up their one hundred push ups. And none too happy about it.

"Vance Anderson? This is Jerry Wellington, Carla Wellington, and Cindy Wellington," said Korwin.

Jerry stood up and looked at Vance with a cursory gaze. "What's your favorite sport, Vance?"

      Vance replied, "Football, of course."

Jerry nodded his head and pulled out his wallet and pressed five hundred dollars into Vance's hand. "Good luck in Seattle, Vance. I have to go shower." And he turned and departed for the shower rooms.

Carla was next. "Vance Anderson. You have muscles. A good strong body. But you're not an Atlantean." And then, she too departed for the shower rooms.

Cindy walked up to Vance and smiled gently. "Hi. I'm Cindy, or Cynthia Wellington by birth. I hope you will forgive the others, but they are always like that when Karson beats them in training. As for the money that Jerry gave you, that's his way of saying that he thinks that you care more about money than saving your world. Don't be too quick to judge them." She then leaned in and gave Vance a kiss on his cheek, before turning slowly and walking off toward the shower rooms herself.

Vance was now quietly looking at the five hundred dollars in his hand.

Korwin calmly said, "Is Jerry right, Vance, or would you like to see more of the base before you make your decision?"

Vance replied, "I need some more time before I make my decision. And Carla... was just plain rude. I am a loser because I am not an Atlantean? I wonder how she would feel if a rookie like me took her down in the training room?"

Korwin irked. "She would try to kill you if you did that. She knows not to hold a grudge against Karson, but you're simply visiting unless you choose to join us. But come, there is more of the "A" building to see." And he and Vance then returned to the ground floor walkway and continued on the tour of the corporate building.

        Chapter 04
        .
After the tour, Vance was rather glad when Korwin was called off to take an important call in his main office on the top floor. Doing some casual wandering, around the "A" building, he chanced upon the work space where Karson was working on his college homework. Vance watched him for a while at first, then Karson noticed him.

        "What do you want?"

"You told the others that if you were given a chance to be a ranger, you would show them how to win a battle. Jerry and Carla insulted me earlier, indicating that you were totally right about them. But Cindy... she had the decency to explain a few things. And when I pressed for more information from Korwin, he told me about the ultimatum he has with you. But suppose I helped you to be a Striker Ranger today. Would you then be more inclined to work with me? Because I think fighting you wouldn't prove a damned thing except that I would be able to defeat children."

Karson growled at those last words as he rose immediately and threw a fast punch at Vance. But he was just as surprised when Vance actually caught his throw in one hand. "How... How did you do that? I'm the best martial artist in Portland."

Vance smiled as he dug out a card and handed it to Karson. It read: International Ninjutsu Tournament Championship Winner: Vance Anderson. It even had his picture on the side with him holding the trophy. "I didn't want to brag about myself. Only juveniles do that. You're good; even I saw your skill when Korwin and I were watching you. But you have never been to a tournament. I have. And I won it."

Karson was in a silent shock as he looked at the card intently. "I... I had no idea."

"So how about it..." Vance said. "If I help you clear things with your mother so you can be a Striker Force Ranger... will you support my being here?"

Karson chuckled suddenly. "My father will renege on his end of the bargain. He uses the ultimatum to get his way with me. How are you going to get me on the team with him being such a prick?"

"Show me where he keeps the spare morphers, for a starter. Then you choose one of a color and species that you like a lot. I'll take the other one. Even if its puke green or hot pink. Then we sneak out of the "A" building, head toward your mom's place, and just before we get there, we both morph into action. Then we visit your mother as Power Rangers. You will reveal your identity to her and tell her that while you were attending college, you were chosen to be a Power Ranger. The deal is this, Karson... if she thinks you are already a Ranger... then she will give you permission to be one. But if you simply go ask her without any proof, then she would likely say no. Once you have her affirmative for your being a ranger, we can return to Korwin and rub it in his face since your mother said yes."

"And it would be hard to say no if I already had the uniform and morpher... I like how you plot and plan, Vance," said Karson. "If this works, I'll give you that support. But I can't promise anything where the Wellington siblings are concerned." Vance smiled. "I like Cindy. She acts mature." Karson smiled in return. "She is rather nice, isn't she?"

Suddenly stepping around the corner was Cindy herself. "Why thank you, boys." Of course they both jumped when she appeared like that. "I overheard your plan and I think it is a good one, Vance. Therefore, I want to help. I have the key to one of the rovers in the parking garage and we can use it to drive over to your mom's."

"Where are the sibs?" asked Karson now wondering where the two might be. Cindy smiled. "They are around someplace, but they won't bother us." Vance nodded his head. "Good. Now let's get this plan underway."

Stealthily entering the storage room, the two spare morphers on the main table were the Gold Stallion and the Black Wolf. Karson took the black morpher and he handed the gold morpher to Vance. Then they exited the room and proceeded to the garage to where Cindy was waiting at the rover. The two got into the vehicle Karson seated next to Cindy and Vance in the back seat and then Cindy started the rover and drove it out of the A building garage and began the drive over to Karson's mother's neighborhood. As they got a block away, Cindy stopped the car in a wooded roadside rest stop and the three got out of the vehicle. "Even though Vance has already seen this in action, follow my lead, boys."

Cindy formed her hands into fists, then struck each of her shoulders with her fists, which caused her morphers to appear.

She then said, "See, easy as pie. Of course, Korwin will likely be upset if he knew we were outside the base like this. So let's get this done before he chooses to check to see where all of us disappeared to."

Vance formed his hands into fists, then struck each of his shoulders with his fists, which caused his morphers to appear. "Soul Striker!" His surroundings went dark as a field of ever burning flames rose up all around him. A sudden flare of light hid his body from sight for a short moment. When the flare vanished, he was wearing a one piece white leather jumpsuit with a black outlined oriental gold stallion imprinted on the front and the back. Next, his shiny gold gloves and boots appeared on his hands and feet. Finally, the soul of an oriental gold stallion erupted all around him, as it transformed into a cloud of energy around his head, solidifying into his gold helmet with a shiny gold nugget set into it's forehead, just above the shiny black visor. Then, the call of the stallion's soul was heard all around, as the flames vanished, and he struck his battle pose for all to see. "Stallion Soul Striker! Gold Ranger!" Quick close-ups of his new ranger costume occurred, before stopping on his gold stallion symbol!

          Chapter 05
          .
Karson formed his hands into fists, then struck each of his shoulders with his fists, which caused his morphers to appear. "Soul Striker!" His surroundings went dark as a field of ever burning flames rose up all around him. A sudden flare of light hid his body from sight for a short moment. When the flare vanished, he was wearing a one piece white leather jumpsuit with a purple outlined oriental black wolf imprinted on the front and the back. Next, his shiny black gloves and boots appeared on his hands and feet. Finally, the soul of an oriental black wolf erupted all around him, as it transformed into a cloud of energy around his head, solidifying into his black helmet with a shining opal set into it's forehead, just above the shiny black visor. Then, the howl of the wolf's soul was heard all around, as the flames vanished, and he struck his battle pose for all to see. "Wolf Soul Striker! Black Ranger!" Quick close-ups of his new ranger costume occurred, before stopping on his black wolf symbol!

The three got back into the rover and proceeded onward toward Karson's home where his mother lived. Arriving at the residence, the rangers got out of the rover and approached the front door where Cindy rang the doorbell. When the door opened, Karson's mother stood there looking a bi surprised to see power rangers standing there. "May I help you?"

Karson reached up and unlatched his helmet as he pulled it off and said, "Mom... While I was studying at college, an opportunity arose where I got chose to help the new power rangers with training and in exchange, they allow me to be on missions with them. But I play backup and only get into battle when it looks like they really need me to get involved to pull them out of harm's way. Of course, if you would rather I be unpatriotic and give this back to them and tell them that I cannot help them anymore, then their mentor will be in a dilemma for sure. May I continue to assist the Power Rangers with their mission. I have not given up on my college studies."

His mother was as understanding as Vance had suggested. Seeing her son in the ranger armor was the proof she needed and after checking Karson out, she said, "As long as you are playing it safe, how can I say no? Your father, may he rest in peace, was killed by demons when they first arrived in Portland. I just don't want the same thing to happen to you."

Karson said, "So I may continue to be a Power Ranger?"

His mother replied, "Yes, son. You go do the world proud and may your father's spirit watch over you as well. He liked wolves himself. Now get going."

Karson put his helmet back on and the three rangers returned to the rover. as they all got inside, and Cindy started the engine... they had barely started driving back to the base when Jerry and Carla suddenly sat up in the back compartment of the rover as Jerry said, "Korwin is going to be steaming for sure, Cindy. So Vance, since you are wearing the suit, does this mean I was wrong about you? Because if you are staying, then I want my money back."

Vance glanced over his shoulder at Jerry and Carla. "I'll make you two a deal... you teach me the Atlantean Battle Arts and in exchange, I will educate the team in my championship Ninjutsu skills. With the battle arts combined with the Ninjutsu skills, the demons won't know what hit them. Deal or not?"

Carla whom was always game for new combat skills, quickly said, "You have yourself a deal, Vance. I did remark on your muscles before. That means a training session as soon as we return to the base."

Jerry growled like a dragon. "I still want my five hundred dollars back."

Vance then said, "Jerry, my deal pitch was at both of you. If you are not willing to accept my offer, then I have no place on your team and then the money stays with me. Perhaps Carla can talk to you about learning new combat skills during the rest of this trip back to base."

And as the rover was seen continuing down the roadway back toward the A Building, it seemed that the back part of the rover was bouncing as if the Warner Brothers and their sister Dot were fighting in the back of the rover. Cindy remarked, "I swear, we cannot take them anywhere."

The three powered down before entering the A Building and once the vehicle was parked, Cindy handed Karson a tape recorder. "I recorded your asking your mother for permission to be on the team. Just take this to Korwin and play it for him. If he tries to renege at that point, then pointedly tell him that it was Vance whom convinced you to talk to your mom. If he thinks Vance will walk if you are not on the team, then he will have to let you stay on the team just to keep Vance here."

As Karson headed off to see if Korwin would show honor, Jerry, whom looked roughed up, said, "I still want my money back."

Now that he wasn't powered up in his ranger suit, Vance handed the five hundred dollar bill back to the Atlantean male. "When I was suited up, I couldn't reach my pants pocket, Jerry. Now that we are powered down, you get your money back." Then he paused, "Did Carla hurt you during the ride home?"

Jerry pocketed his money and replied, "She and I fight like this all the time. But she is right about one thing. Having twice the fighting power will definitely win the day against the demons. You can stay, Vance. Did Korwin assign you with a room yet?"

Vance shook his head. "I think he was waiting to see if I accepted the offer to join the team or not. And to play it safe, I don't think the demons should learn that the main three rangers recruited two new rangers just yet. Only call on us if it seems that the main three need back up. The demons might get a false sense of dominance if they think they have you on the ropes and suddenly two rangers come to your rescue."

Jerry said, "My sisters share a room of their own while my room has a spare bed. I think that Korwin was going to have you share my room if you chose to stay. Would you accept my invitation to share my quarters? Karson's room is all the way over near Korwin's personal quarters."

Vance smiled. "I'd be honored to share the room of an Atlantean. Although, the Atlanteans of Planet Earth in the Dreamtrail quadrant are sharks. I am glad you are not like them."
