Chapter Two

Patricia came forth and hugged each and every Sirian Power Ranger. Though her hug was extended on Kenneth, Donovan could guess why. Then, Patricia turned to Donovan and... in the most broken Sirian ever heard, she said, "Epop-wbo. J mfbso... tqfbl... mjlf zpv." Patricia winked.

Donovan blinked his eyes, then he laughed out loud as he hugged Patricia!!

Kuka turned to Kit and Kenneth, saying, "Es. Trvjsf jt xpoefsgvm! Tif jt uszjoh up mfbso pvs mbohvbhf!"

Kenneth replied, "J upme zpv uibu nz npn xbt dppm!"

Kit grinned. "Wfsz dppm!"

Campion then exclaimed, "Xifsf bsf uif Lfzt?"

Donovan opened his belt pouch and pulled out the five jewels. The Keys of Kanus. Everyone oohed and ahhed as Patricia took the jewels, placing them into an ancient Sirian relic. As Patricia projected a light down the top of the relic, a multi-coloured 3D map appeared on one wall.

Patricia said, "There is where you'll find the doors where your battle zords are kept." Campion translated this into Sirian, as Patricia continued to speak. "Memorize this location, my friends. For it is the only record you'll have of where to go."

Mazoth Ruins

Kit whispered, "Of all the times in my youth of playing and growing up in this area, I never would have dreamed that these ruins actually held such a powerful secret."

Kuka replied, "They are the ruins of an ancient Kitsune civilization, therefore, it's possible that such a find could have been hidden here so long ago."

Kyote grinned. "Leave it to the kid to have grown up in the land where the battle zords were kept."

Kit giggled and blushed, his ears pinkening noticeably.

Donovan and Kenneth were letting the three chatter in the back, as they continued to search the ruins for the indentations for where the jewel keys would fit into, that would open the zord hangar doors to reveal the Sirian Battle Zords within.

Kenneth whispered, "What do you think we're actually looking for, bro?"

Donovan grinned. He liked having Kenneth call him 'bro'. "I think we're looking for five indentations that the five jewels would fit into. However, I don't think these five indentations would be within arm's length of each other. If that were the case, anyone could open the ancient doors, and would have, by now. It's a special security feature. Place the indentations far enough apart and it takes five people working together to open the doors."

Kenneth nodded his German Shepherd head. "Makes sense to me, just as it made sense when you and Campion both suggested that I be in my Sirian form while we searched. A human among Sirians would stick out like a sore thumb."

Chapter Three

Donovan smiled. "But you're my sore thumb, and I am not sorry I became your brother. Without you, we wouldn't have a home base, the Dog Star Acolyte, or even your mom's cooking. And now, when we find them, the Sirian Battle Zords."

At about that moment, Kyote tripped over a triangular rock, falling down on all fours. "Ow! What did I trip over?"

Kit looked at the rock. "Just the ear rock. At least, that's what my mum always called it... before she died..." Kit turned away, remembering his departed mother.

Kenneth gently patted Kit's shoulders with both hands, then gently hugged him. "If I were to lose my mom, I'd feel the same way, Kit. Aside from you guys, and Campion, my mom is all I have. My father..." Kenneth became silent. "...let's not dwell there."

Kit turned around and hugged Kenneth tightly, his muzzle pressed into Kenneth's chest.

Donovan helped Kyote up to her feet, as he examined the ear rock. "Kit, is there an underground cavern or something near here?"

Kit lifted his head and looked to Donovan. "Actually yes, it was covered for a long time, until I discovered it. I used to play in there all the time. I can lead us all directly to it's entry location. Though... it's more of a hole, to be honest. I had no problems squeezing into that cavern, because I'm small. But you guys... it'd be a tight squeeze."

Kuka chuckled, "In other words, we shouldn't have had seconds of breakfast this morning. Lead the way, Kit. We'll squeeze into this hole one way or another."

The Old Mazoth Runway Tunnel

Donovan exclaimed, "I can see why you'd want to play in here, Kit. It's spacious. And it's..." And then, Donovan saw... the ancient wall of writings! "...and it's a good thing Dr. Squire isn't here to see this. We'd never be able to drag her away from it."

Kenneth and the others came over to stand beside Donovan, as they all viewed the wall of writings. At that point, Kenneth did the smart thing, and set up some lighting equipment, to illuminate the wall properly, then, he pulled out his camera and snapped some pictures of the fantastic Sirian wall of writings.

Kyote said, "Good thinking, Kenny. Your mom can decipher the writings later when you give her the pictures from your magic picture box."

Kenneth grinned. "It's called a camera. Here, let me set up the tripod, and I'll take our picture as a group, together in front of this wall." And he began to set up the tripod.

Soon afterward, Kenneth and the others were standing in front of the wall, as they struck a serious battle stance. The following few pictures were just plain silly, to say the least. As Kenneth was packing away the tripod and camera, however, Kit noticed something about the wall of writings, as he had accidentally been knocked down by Kuka and was picking himself up, as he faced the wall itself. "Donovan... you better come have a look at this."

Donovan walked over beside Kit and looked toward the spot Kit was pointing at.

Chapter Four

It was one of the five indentations.

Donovan grinned. "Score one for Kit! He found one of the indentations, guys!"

Everyone then came over and looked at it, carefully.

Donovan said, "The other four will look just like this one. Spread out and look carefully."

The team then spread out to search the entire wall itself. Kyote was the next one to locate an indentation. Then, Kuka found one. And then, Donovan found one.

Kenneth was the only one not to have located the last indentation. "Where is it?" He glanced around to see where the others were standing, then began searching again. "It should be right in this area someplace... except... there's nothing but smooth rock... I don't get it. It isn't here, guys."

Donovan came over and looked. "You're right. It's not here. But why would we only find four and not the fifth?"

Kenneth stepped back a good fifty feet, as he lowered himself to his knees on the floor, studying the wall of writings, trying to see what it was he could have been missing. It was while he was knelt down on his knees that he noticed two rounded spots in the floor, about knee length and size apart, and the last indentation about an arm's length out in front of the knee indentations. He placed his knees into the grooves, then reached forward to the other indentation. It was a perfect match. "I found it, guys! It's not on the wall! It's here in the floor!"

Donovan came over and placed the Pink jewel into Kenneth's hand. "We do this all together, bro." Then, he walked back over to the others, handing them one each, of their ranger colors, the other jewels. "All at the same time. At the count of three. One... Two..."

And at that moment, a patrol of Putties came diving into the cavern entrance!

Donovan shouted, "...UISFF!"

And everyone placed their jewels at the exact same time! The whole cavern began to rumble and shake, knocking the Putty Patrollers off their feet to the ground! Everyone wisely hung on to their jewels, as the entire wall of writings suddenly cracked up the center, and then, exploded apart in a fantastic sparkling shower of lights and fireworks! Within the inner chamber were the five Sirian Protector Zords!

The Red Ysglad Wolf Zord looked very manacing, as a wolf in battle should look!

The Yellow Gaian Coyote Zord had the look of predator stalking it's prey!

The Black Void Fox Zord looked dark and mysterious, having a weird shimmering shine!

The Blue Barrier Dingo Zord had a look all it's own, but no less dangerous than the wolf!

The White Canis Major Zord was the most majestic zord of them all! It had the full looks and deckings of an imperial warship, though was shaped like a hound of battle!

Chapter Five

Donovan shouted, "Up uif apset!" And he, and his team mates, ran forward, leaping up and into the heads of the battle zords, each landing in the pilot's seats within their individual zords!

Kyote shouted, "Opx xibu? Ipx ep xf nblf uifn gjhiu?"

Kenneth was quickly looking over the entire command console of the Canis Major Zord, when he saw what he was looking for! "Ifsf hpft opuijoh..." And he placed the Pink jewel into an open slot in the console in front of him, and hit it with his fist, shouting, "Ubn pg bhft! Ifbs pvs qmfb! Hjwf vt uif qpxfs! Gspn jogjojuz!" Kenneth's body alit with a brilliant white light. As the white light faded, he was wearing a uniform of solid White, with no boots nor gloves. Then, a flash of Pink stripes appeared down his arms, meeting under his arms, streaming down his sides, down both legs. This was followed by a golden glow upon his chest, as the tribal Tam brand appeared with a shiny gold radiance. Next, a special security visor appeared over Kenneth's eyes, shaped accordingly to his German Shepherd features. Finally, his Pink Bo Staff, Pink Saber, and his Pink Pistol appeared from out of his golden Tam brand, as Pink special effects explosions went off all around the entire zord! "Qjol Tjsjbo Sbohfs!"

At that point, the mighty White Canis Major Zord awoke, leaped up, and charged at the Putties, knocking them asunder! The other Sirian Rangers were very impressed, of course!

Kenneth shouted, "Qmbdf uif kfxfm josp uif dpotpmf tmpu, iju ju xjui zpvs gjtu, uifo tipvu pvu uif npsqijoh dbmm!"

The others shouted, "Sjhiu! Mfu't ep ju!"

Donovan placed the Red jewel into an open slot in the console in front of him, and hit it with his fist, shouting, "Ubn pg bhft! Ifbs pvs qmfb! Hjwf vt uif qpxfs! Gspn jogjojuz!" Donovan's body alit with a brilliant white light. As the white light faded, he was wearing a uniform of solid White, with no boots nor gloves. Then, a flash of Red stripes appeared down his arms, meeting under his arms, streaming down his sides, down both legs. This was followed by a golden glow upon his chest, as the tribal Tam brand appeared with a shiny gold radiance. Next, a special security visor appeared over Donovan's eyes, shaped accordingly to his Wolf features. Finally, his Red Claws, Red Saber, and his Red Pistol appeared from out of his golden Tam brand, as Red special effects explosions went off all around the entire zord! "Sfe Tjsjbo Sbohfs!" The Red Ysglad Wolf Zord awoke and howled!

Kyote placed the Yellow jewel into an open slot in the console in front of her, and hit it with her fist, shouting, "Ubn pg bhft! Ifbs pvs qmfb! Hjwf vt uif qpxfs! Gspn jogjojuz!" Kyote's body alit with a brilliant white light. As the white light faded, she was wearing a uniform of solid White, with no boots nor gloves. Then, a flash of Yellow stripes appeared down her arms, meeting under her arms, streaming down her sides, down both legs. This was followed by a golden glow upon her chest, as the tribal Tam brand appeared with a shiny gold radiance. Next, a special security visor appeared over Kyote's eyes, shaped accordingly to her Coyote features. Finally, her Yellow Spear, Yellow Saber, and her Yellow Pistol appeared from out of her golden Tam brand, as Yellow special effects explosions went off all around the entire zord! "Zfmmpx Tjsjbo Sbohfs!" The Yellow Gaian Coyote Zord awoke and howled!

Kit placed the Black jewel into an open slot in the console in front of him, and hit it with his fist, shouting, "Ubn pg bhft! Ifbs pvs qmfb! Hjwf vt uif qpxfs! Gspn jogjojuz!" Kit's body alit with a brilliant white light. As the white light faded, he was wearing a uniform of solid White, with no boots nor gloves. Then, a flash of Black stripes appeared down his arms, meeting under his arms, streaming down his sides, down both legs. This was followed by a golden glow upon his chest, as the tribal Tam brand appeared with a shiny gold radiance. Next, a special security visor appeared over Kit's eyes, shaped accordingly to his Foxy features. Finally, his Black Bladed Staff and his Black Pistol appeared from out of his golden Tam brand, as Black special effects explosions went off all around the entire zord! "Cmbdl Tjsjbo Sbohfs!" The Black Void Fox Zord awoke and howled!

Kuka placed the Blue jewel into an open slot in the console in front of her, and hit it with her fist, shouting, "Ubn pg bhft! Ifbs pvs qmfb! Hjwf vt uif qpxfs! Gspn jogjojuz!" Kuka's body alit with a brilliant white light. As the white light faded, she was wearing a uniform of solid White, with no boots nor gloves. Then, a flash of Blue stripes appeared down her arms, meeting under her arms, streaming down her sides, down both legs. This was followed by a golden glow upon her chest, as the tribal Tam brand appeared with a shiny gold radiance. Next, a special security visor appeared over Kuka's eyes, shaped accordingly to her Dingo features. Finally, her Blue Boomerang, Blue Saber, and her Blue Pistol appeared from out of her golden Tam brand, as Blue special effects explosions went off all around the entire zord! "Cmvf Tjsjbo Sbohfs!" The Blue Barrier Dingo Zord awoke and howled!

Soon, all five Sirian Battle Zords were charging side by side across the barren landscape, heading back toward the Sirian Studies Estate!
