Rook smiles as he sees the two. He waves as he sets down some vials, "'ello Joey.... Who's yer sexy friend?"

Rook summoned Zune, and Zune assisted Tonda with birthing the young Kitsunes and taking charge of them. Then Rook showed Tonda a trapdoor and told him to jump through it. "Once yas go through, yas will be completely restored to yer old 'uman self. Exactly as yas was before the Toonium. Although... the Solar powers may stick with yas, since that operates on a different basis."

Tonda hugged Rook and kissed his muzzle, then he jumped through the trapdoor... and...he fell what felt like three stories, then he felt the splashdown as he sank through what felt like a band of HOT and COLD water at the same time. And then he exited the other side and...

...he landed on his ass, clothed, and sitting just outside of the Toonium Distillery Factory where his own accident had occurred.

"What the?" Tonda muttered as he recognized where he was. "I'm back at the Toonium Distillery Factory." Then he paused. "Dustin Wagoner! I have to help Dustin! He was one of the workers here!" And he dashed inside the factory and tried to locate the vat and Toonium that he had gotten grabbed into before.

When he finds that Vat, he stops and hums. "How do I help him without getting in that stuff...?"

Monjaro, Jackson, Bastan, and Casey were soon inside the Insanitarium's records department. They had sneaked in without telling Dr. Warner that they were there.

Monjaro said, "We're looking for all records of covered up so-called accidents. Start searching, guys. We have Lord Albert's permission to do this."

Jackson grinned and selected one of the many filing cabinets to start searching in.

That's going to be the hardest part. He's there but so dissolved into the Toonium clay like liquid that he'll need HELP from a Toonium EXPERT to be able to rescue him. However, for a brief moment Tonda can spot a hand like shape... making a brief gesture before it's gone. He's definitely getting worse. Able to hold his shape less and his mind is in there.... Barely holding on... waiting for help. If it hadn't been for Tonda, he would have never been found until he was truly... gone.

One quick phone call later, the Factory had a Toonium Rescue Team on site being led by the Pink Panther, UEC rescue members, and a Cat Lord representative. When Tonda had named the toon in trouble, records proved that he had existed and they took the call seriously.

While Tonda watches, a rare process is used to slowly and carefully extract Dustin Wagoner out of the Toonium Vat. Once out, the Pink Panther immediately works on restoring the worker to his original toon species. And Tonda finally gets to see what Dustin is.

Dustin Wagoner was a toon human, and a rather nice looking one at that, who formerly before this incident and another, was a human from Scotsdale. Not that far away. He's been missing for quite some time and Tonda is literally a HERO. If he hadn't found him, he'd still be missing and would likely be dead! However, the long stay in the Toonium is bound to have side effects on him but they likely won't show up immediately. He'll just be glad to be alive and back in a solid form.... There are pieces of him from here to Kukamonga giving the processing that went in that vat. As soon as he can, the young man gives Tonda a very large hug and thanks him repeatedly.

Tonda hummed again. He liked the idea of learning magic. Especially if it allowed him to see Rook, Joey, Sonic, and Tails again. "Okay Rook. You win. You can recommend me to the teacher at Dragon-Master High."

Rook giggled, as he reached into his pouch, pulled out something hidden in his paw, and then he firmly slapped his paw on Tonda's bare back where he couldn't reach nor see. It was one of the newer Magic Inoculation Patches that the school had upgraded to. "That's my joey boi! Ah knew yas would see it my way! Now, let's clean that 'omestead!"

Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, Sega (a golden male hedgehog with blue eyes), and Sony (a rainbow colored male hedgehog with green eyes) had all arrived to help Rook with the cleanup job (and to check on Tails and Tonda.)

Sonic said, "Dr. Warner called me and told me that regardless of who you were with, Tonda, you were my responsibility. I am glad you got your original human form back, finally. You're actually really good looking. However, my Mobian eyes are very attuned to Mobian powers and I can plainly see that you still have the Halo the Hedgehog powers. We'll have to train you in how to use them. And I am surprised that Rook has convinced you to study magic. Your life is going to be upside-down with your new mutant Mobian powers AND learning magic."

Tonda said, "So I am still going to change into Halo occasionally? Japanopolis isn't going to be as easy to live in like I thought it would be. This is going to get crazy." Then he looked over at Tails. "Good to see you back to your usual non-yiffy self. Are you okay?"

Tonda helped the others get the homestead and the labs all cleaned up. It took a few hours of that realm's time, but it was rewarding work. After they were done, everyone was served chili dogs, lemonade, and roo-cookies.

Sonic said to Tonda, "We need to think about training you in your new Solar powers, Tonda. Although you did look hot as a hedgehog. Made me erect just looking at you."

Tonda blushed. "When do we start this training?"

Sonic said, "I think we should get you enrolled in school first. And you'll need an after school job, too. I would suggest a package delivery service since they are versatile and have hours that would be open for my training you."

Monjaro hummed. "Since when would Japanopolis need repopulating? As you may recall, the school systems here are jam-packed with human Anime students, more now than in recent years."

Jackson snapped his fingers. "What if it's not for Japanopolis? Repop could be for areas where human Anime have gotten themselves accidentally changed into Digimon, Pokemon, or Mobians... say, the entire Montropolis Valley region? Unlike Japanopolis, they only have the one school system, since for some reason, there has never been a flood of their kind going to school at any given time. Unlike in Japanopolis where they had to build several new schools just to accommodate the flood of new Anime students."

He then continued. "Now, let's take Tonda's accident as an example. He was changed into an Anime powered Mobian Hedgehog. Accidentally within the Insanitarium, right? If Japanopolis was the target area, wouldn't it have been enough to simply change him into an Anime boy and leave it at that?"

Monjaro glanced at the others and then at Jackson again. "We need to look through these other folders first to make sure that theory holds water. If all of the accident cases result in Montropolis species, then you may be on the right track." And with that, he started pouring over the other folders in the Project: Repop filing cabinet.

All we do know is that Tonda had the accident done to him, but when he changed, Sonic immediately took responsibility for him. But what if Sonic's involvement was NOT part of the plan? Sonic got involved and literally disrupted their plans. Now they have to monitor Tonda from afar while Sonic is around."

Jackson giggles. "Bastan is talking about my moonshine still. I got him tipsy and we had sex afterward while the video cameras were running. Uncle Paul is probably selling the videos on the black market to the highest bidder." He winked and laughed.

Monjaro grinned at Casey. "He's just trying to be funny. We both come from Superhero stock backgrounds."

Solar moaned as he lowered himself to his knees, fore paws on the floor. "Still feel like a hot fire is boiling up through my body."

Sonic said, "Better get him outside quick! Up, over, and gone!" And he grabbed Solar and zoomed outside to a distant hilltop. "Okay, buddy... you can unleash it here. Go for it. No one can get hurt here."

And not a second too soon, as what looked like a solar flare shot up and out of Solar into the reaches of the sky.

Solar panted gasping for air. "Water... need water..."

And Sonic zoomed him down to a fresh water spring. "Drink up, Solar."

And he did.

Aside from two games, one called Hello Nurse!, and the other called Bite That Tooshie!, there is a locked and passworded folder marked with the name of the current month and having the current year on it. And the only reason you would ever lock and password a folder would be to hide something important.

Monjaro hummed. "Sneaky, Warner... very sneaky..." He clicks enter and the password and lock are popped open. "We're in. And now to download this whole open folder to my jump drive so we can access it whenever we like." SLURP! Copy made.

Jackson said, "That's how he gets ahead."

Rook hummed. "Ah see what's going on now."

Sonic says, "What did you find out, Rook?"

Rook replied, "Tonda or Solar is in the early stages of Digimon Metamorphosis. 'e only 'as a 'edge'og form at the moment because yer genetics were accidentally injected into 'is body and that caused a pre-change into the Solar form. From what Ah am seeing 'ere, 'e was supposed to 'ave been changed, against 'is will, into a fire using Guilmon A.C. But yer genetics changed the original tampering process and now, 'is genetic stability is constantly erupting. And it occurs every time 'e 'as a meal."

Sonic hummed. "So when we fed him a big meal after the clean-up here at the homestead, we literally pushed him into a triggered metamorphosis. Now I feel bad for helping to cause it."

Monjaro pretty much explains what Rook had just explained, almost word per word. "Now it's confirmed, guys. They are trying to repopulate Montropolis with Pokemon and Digimon replacements. Apparently, the older Digimon are all moving out of the region for better areas and this is a crazy scheme to repopulate the dying area."

Rook replies, "If Ah remove Sonic's genetic from this mix, instant poof into a Guilmon A.C. who won't remember ever being 'uman, Tonda, or Solar. And 'e will be immediately in 'eat and we don't want to be around for that. What Ah want to try is to remove the tampering that the Insanitarium did and possibly leave Tonda with a cool super power that 'e can not only use, but be useful to 'is friends. But Ah'll need 'elp with this. This will be a tough operation. Ah normally don't work on 'umans."

A few minutes later, Zune the Kitsune, Pheox the Phoenix, and Infernus the Red Dragon had joined Rook and Tails in the emergency chambers of the homestead's labs. The subject on the operating table was none other than Tonda Lochmond (Solar Flare the Hedgehog) whom Rook intended to purge of the digital tampering infection. But this would be no easy task. Which is why he brought in the help. He might miss something while working, and the others had extra knowledge that would be helpful in this. Sonic was standing nearby to fetch anything the team needed during the operation."Let's begin. The subject has been sedated. We will now begin by isolating the Digimon invader genetics."

At a large farm just south of Japanopolis and just north of Montropolis, Felix Kornel (Zecma's human friend who was undergoing accidental problems of his own, but rather than trusting the Insanitarium, Zecma had been called in to help since he was responsible for getting the family to Q.C. Planet) was doing his homework with Myrdramon (a brown and white marshland dragon Digimon), Glitter Prower (a brown two-tailed Kitsune, one son of Tails), Sony (a rainbow colored hedgehog with green eyes), and Slick (a tall slender drakogoyle.)

Zecma was floating nearby monitoring their homework session when he heard Bastan's call for him. "You boys keep working and no goofing off or I'll make you deliver packages for Bastan. Be right back." And he POOFED away!

Zecma appeared in the chamber floating next to Bastan. "Hi sexy cat! I was monitoring my friends' homework session. It's a full time job helping Felix Kornel these days."

Jackson hummed. "Odd. Felix Kornel has a folder here, too. But it's marked as incomplete."

Zecma grinned. "Incomplete because his family is very cautious. The only doctor who has looked Felix over is the school nurse at Montropolis High School. But even she has to send in the records of school patients, so his file would be here, obviously. I've been personally helping him through his transformation problems." He paused and looked at Bastan again. "So what did you want, Bastan?"

Zecma grinned. "How small your memory is, Bastan. I do not work for Information Devilmouse Services nor for Triple-I. I work for the Underworld Council. I am currently assigned to the Kornel family where I am the planet side permission link for any underworld personalities to be able to come top side to the planet. And believe me... just when I think I get a hold on Felix's transformation issues, something new crops up and he ends up transforming again. It's a never-ending battle. And his friends are in the thick of things, too. Most end up on the receiving end... or merged with him during the changes. Sony has been through a lot of it. Glitter got sucked in a couple of times. Slick got it once... and swears he doesn't want to do it again. And Myrdramon has gotten merged a few times, but he's a real trooper since he is a Digimon. But Felix's accident was due to a Light Element Crystal and a faulty Digivice. But since the crystal has been removed safely, the changes keep happening."

Monjaro hummed. "Sounds like someone must have tampered with his medical cures at one time, otherwise he would be cured."

Zecma came over the computer and started working on the ciphers. "Like I said, the only doctor I know he's had contact with is the Montropolis school nurse and she has been with the school since the beginning. Even Garurumon swears by her."

Jackson hummed. "It's too much of a coincidence that Felix and Tonda's cases are so similar."

Zecma giggled. "Since you think I am so cute, I think you should try it out for a while." POOF! He magically changes Casey into a toon mouse with small horns. He looked like a devil mouse, but Zecma was smart enough NOT to make Casey become the real species. Underworld Laws and such could make things sticky.

Casey was sitting on the desktop near Monjaro and Zecma.

Monjaro shook his head. "How long is he going to be like that, Zecma?"

"Oh, I'll change him back before I leave," said Zecma. "There will be no harm done. Besides, I was smart NOT to change him into a devil mouse. The Yuskay Laws that are in place really enforce the Registered/Non-Registered status. There are no Wyld factions anymore. You are either Non-Registered or willing to Register. Anyone changed into a Devil Mouse get a year to make the willing decision on either status. If at the end of the year they want to return to their original species and choose neither option, then they get restored for free. It's just not as fun to change someone into our species anymore since the victim can get out of it too easily."

Unfortunately for Zecma, he learns of his mistake just a bit too late as a teleportation effect goes off. A robotic voice says quietly, "Experimental subject isolated in Chamber 4. Subject Identified as Subject 319-Beta. Subject 319-Alpha, confirmed faulty."

Bastan blinks and walks over, "What...the hell...did you just trigger, Zecma..."
