The next day at the Insanitarium
Tonda was barely awake, but he was strapped down to his bed for reasons unbeknown to himself. He was also blindfolded for likewise unknown reasons. Doctor Warner had Sonic the Hedgehog in the hospital room with him. Tails was waiting outside in the hallway.
Tonda muttered, "...doc? what's going on...? I can't see..."
Doctor Warner calmly says, "You are blindfolded. Do you remember your name? Tell me your name."
Tonda tried to focus on his name, but all he could see was a solar halo in his memories. "...can't see...real name... Solar... Solar Halo... doesn't sound right... that's all I can remember, doc... Solar Halo..."
Doctor Warner sighed, as he looked to Sonic. "Now you can see why I brought you in, my friend. He's going to need someone like himself to help him."
Tonda sighed. "I still can't see, doc."
Doctor Warner said, "What does the name Tonda Lochmond do to your head?"
Tonda rolled it around in his mind a little. "...nothing. Not even a click. Wait... something about a Lion, a Leomon, and a big horse... but no pain or names... just the Solar Halo. It is the strongest thing in my mind. Can you help me see please?"
Sonic stepped over and removed the blindfold from the boy's head.
Tonda arched an eye when he saw Sonic. "Um... you look familiar..."
Sonic grinned. "Just the fastest hedgehog alive. My name is Sonic. So you're Solar. Nice to meet you. I'm going to be helping you recover for a while. My little buddy, too. He's out in the hallway."

The same morning at Legacy Shipping
Monjaro unlocks the front door of the building, then notices Jackson over on the pinball machine for his early morning game. "Now we just need Bastan and Casey. I wonder how the other boy is doing?"
Jackson replied, "When I called the Insanitarium, they told me that Tonda had a slight problem. He can't remember his name nor being anything other than what he is now. They called in Sonic the Hedgehog to help him through his rehab."
Monjaro arched an eye as his mouth dropped open. "He changed into a Mobian Hedgehog?"

Casey had a nice breakfast with his family before they went to various work they had to do. Casey also had chores to do before he could leave but he did them quickly and was soon out the door heading to Legacy Shipping, smiling and whistling softly the Toon Classic, 'It's a wonderful day'. Because that's exactly how he felt this morning.

Bastan waves to Monjaro, "Morning." He had been in the back looking over things while waiting for Monjaro with Jackson. He had already heard the news himself but he wasn't that surprised. He's seen the effects on Toonium on humans up close and personal. Like Harold and James.

Monjaro replied, "Morning, Bastan. I heard that Jackson got you bombed yesterday. I hope you're okay. He forgets sometimes that some people may not be able to take a pure shot. How's that studio apartment of yours?"Jackson continued to play the pinball game.

Sonic helped the unclothed Solar the Hedgehog out of the straps and outside of the hospital room where Tails 3 was waiting on them.
Tails 3 was the one that Darquirrin played in one of our Muck-RP games. It is NOT Tails 1 the school teacher at Montropolis, nor Mylanus Oki'Prowlus (Tails 2) the scientist. Tails 3 is the younger one of the bunch and most like the classic Tails from the video games.
Sonic said to Tails, "Little buddy... this is Solar Halo the Hedgehog." Then he whispered to Tails closely. "Real name of Tonda Lochmond. 'Toonium' + 'Mobian Hedgehog Serum' = 'Transformed Boy w/ No Memory of Old Self'."
Solar looked around, though he seemed to subconsciously be rubbing his new body constantly. As if... trying to find a zipper or buttons on a costume. He still seemed a little confused.

Bastan says, "I was smart enough to drink a lot of water before I went to bed, so I'm not as hung over but those things were stronger than I was expecting that's for sure. And I like the apartment. It's perfect. Though a bit lonely." He chuckles, "So did the accident get his sponsorship revoked or did the kid catch a break and get registered with a rescue family?"

Tails tilted his head slightly, "We gonna take him back home with us? If he's a Mobian, he'll feel most comfortable there."

Jackson replied, "All Doctor Warner would tell me over the phone was that there was a chance that his memory would return, since bits and parts were still present. But the thing that disturbs me the most is that apparently the hospital screwed up when treating the boy. They injected him with a species serum rather than an Anti-Toonium serum. And now, he's some species that needs a trainer. And that's all Doctor Warner would say over the phone."
Monjaro hummed. "They are covering up an accident in the Insanitarium? That's... a Mystery?" His eyes are sparkling and he had the look of a plot coming on.
Jackson quickly grabbed a glass of water and splashed it in Monjaro's face! "STOP! We are Delivery Anime! NOT All-Stars! Sheesh... second time in a month that I've had to do that!"

Sonic smiled to Tails. "Yeah. We get the boy for three weeks. Then we have to prepare him for school. If... he's up to it. And I get to teach him how to be a Hedgehog for the whole time. I wonder if he will end up with a super power, like how I have super speed? Anyway, little buddy. Let's get Solar back to Mobius."
Solar glanced over at Sonic and sexy Tails. "Um... I feel like... bathroom... er... help?"
Sonic teleports the three of them back to Mobius and starts the first lesson with teaching Solar how to relieve himself. Not the way Sonic wanted to start, but... you gotta start somewhere.

Monjaro grins at Bastan. "Maybe you would like to make a delivery, big boy?" He grabs an invoice and says, "Row 4, Shelf 10. You'll find boxes marked with this name. Deliver them to this address and make sure the people there sign the invoice." He hands over the invoice to Bastan. "I wonder when Casey will be in?"
Jackson giggled. "Any minute now. I can hear him humming in the distance."

Solar hugs Tails back, awkwardly, then blushes and says, "Um... you are... sexy... sorry for saying that... but you are..."
Sonic grinned, glad that someone else finds his foxy friend attractive.

Bastan nods and picks up the heavy package with one arm and heads off with the delivery after double checking that they are the right ones. Bastan is a strong feline.
Casey grins as he comes inside, ducking under the blue feline's arm with a giggle, "Hi Guys! I'm here!"

Tails giggles, "You don't have to not say that... Say what you feel like, Solar. I'm just glad we could bring you home with us. I know your confused but it'll pass. I'm sure of it, Solar." He remembers that for amnesia patient's it's important to names and facts repeated when it's not unnatural to do so. So he's trying to start early on that. But he did ask Sonic, in passing privately, if they should try to treat him as a 'restoree' training person where they try to bring about memory recall or 'new life' person where they focus on the new life while de-emphasizing the old one so that the toon can start a new life and forget the old one. This isn't the first training Sonic and Tails have had to do due to accidents. Things happen.

Jackson hugged Casey, and groped his butt, as he headed into the back storage chambers to see about getting his own delivery started.

Sonic told Tails in passing that Doctor Warner had indicated that there is residual blurry image memories still in his head, but Solar cannot place any names to those images at all. And most amnesia cases get headaches when they hear their real name... but in Solar's case, his own real name had no painful effects at all. The chance was there for memory restoral, but Doctor Warner said it was very slim and to treat solar like a 'new life' person. And if memories returned while he was with them, then to show support.
Sonic grinned at Solar. "Are you hungry?"
Solar smiled and replied, "Yeah... though the thing that comes to mind when you say hungry is... Tacos and Chili Dogs... Taco Dogs?"
Sonic glanced at Tails, then smiled. "Might be interesting to try, you know. Might become a new Sonic favorite. What do you think, Tails?"

Casey giggles and hugged them both and nodnods, "Yep! I'm ready!" He grins, "Will I get to drive the golf carts again? That was fun!"

Tails giggles, swishing his two tails, "Sounds like a treat. Taco Dogs.... Never had THAT before." He grins, "But Chili Dogs are out for a while, Sonic... You know what happened after you ate that last Quadruple Chili Dog Feast for Ten!" He winks at Solar, "They started adding more beans to the chili." He's joking ( slightly ) but it's a funny story anyway.
